By Bus

By Tram and Rail

FC Twente was founded in 1965 in the city of Enschede, through the merger of Sportclub Enschede and Enschedese Boys, making it one of the more established soccer clubs in the Netherlands. Known affectionately as "de Tukkers" by their supporters, the club has spent much of its history alternating between the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, but has built a loyal following in the Twente region that has stuck with the club through both good times and difficult ones.
