By Bus

By Tram and Rail

Heerenveen was founded in 1920 in the town of Heerenveen, making it one of the older soccer clubs in the Netherlands. Known affectionately as "De Superfriezen" (The Super Frisians) by their supporters, the club has spent much of its history alternating between the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, but has built a loyal following across Friesland that has stuck with the club through both good times and difficult ones.
