Van Donge & De Roo Stadion guide
The Van Donge & De Roo Stadion is one of the smallest and most intimate grounds in the Dutch Eredivisie. The 4,224 seats create a tight, close-up atmosphere on matchday. That's where we come in, we've got you covered with tickets for every single Excelsior match. The stadium is divided in four sections, the North Stand, South Stand, East Stand and West Stand.
North Stand
The North Stand is home of Excelsior's most vocal supporters. This is the place where the die-hard Excelsior fans take seat. The North Stand is known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. When you want to experience the real Dutch soccer, you need to look for North Stand tickets. The stand is located behind one of the goals. Whenever Excelsior attack towards this goal, you will get the authentic Excelsior feeling.
South Stand
On the opposite site of the North Stand, you will find the South Stand. This stand holds home fans in the upper tier and away fans in the lower tier. Especially during a Rotterdam derby against Feyenoord or Sparta Rotterdam, you will feel the tension and rivalry in the South Stand.
East Stand
Along the side of the field you will find the East Stand. This stand offers the perfect sightlines across the entire field. For the business class experience you can take seat in the prestigious club level. In the middle tier of the East Stand, you find a real hospitality experience. In the East Stand it's a bit more about the luxury and a bit less about the soccer atmosphere. But you know for sure you will have the best view in the stadium.
West Stand
It won't be any surprise that this stand is on the opposite side of the East Stand. There are also quiet a lof of similarities with the East Stand. You've got amazing sightlines, but will also be surrounded by a bit more quieter fans. The West Stand is located on the side of the dugouts, which gives you a little bit extra. You can hear the managers shouting and see the players warming-up from up close.
