Stadium information
Name:
Dignity Health Sports Park
Capacity:
27,000
Address:
18400 Avalon Boulevard, Carson, CA 90746, USA
Description:
Dignity Health Sports Park has been LA Galaxy's home since 2003 and was, at the time, only the second stadium built specifically for soccer in the United States, a pioneering project that paved the way for the rest of the league. Located in Carson, south of Los Angeles, it's part of a large sports complex that also includes tennis courts, a velodrome and the club's training facilities.
The best way to get to Dignity Health Sports Park
Once you have your tickets for a Galaxy game, you'll need to work out how to get to the stadium. Here are a few options to help you find the one that suits you best.
By car
The stadium is around 15 miles from downtown Los Angeles, which is why most fans choose to drive. Access from the freeway is direct, and the complex has plenty of parking around the venue. Either way, given the city's traffic, it's worth setting off with plenty of time to spare.
By subway and bus
The A Line of the Los Angeles Metro runs to Del Amo station, from where several bus routes head towards the complex, making it a practical alternative if you'd rather not drive, although the trip from downtown is longer than by car.
Dignity Health Sports Park guide
Dignity Health Sports Park is a compact stadium, so practically no seat is far from the field and visibility is good from anywhere in the ground. There's also a great atmosphere thanks to its passionate fanbase. That's where we come in, as we have tickets for every Galaxy game. The stadium is divided into four areas: the East and West Stands and the North and South Ends.
West Stand
This is the stadium's main stand, sitting behind the benches, and it's also home to the press box and the suites. Being a side stand, it has the best visibility of the whole field, though it's also the most expensive area of the venue.
East Stand
This side offers practically the same quality of view as the other stand, but at more affordable prices. It's the most recommended choice for first-time visitors to the stadium, since you get the full view of the action while still hearing the noise from the supporters' end in the background.
North End
This is the end where the team's supporters' group is based. Known as the Victoria Block, in reference to Victoria Street, which runs alongside the venue on that side. It's a standing section, where the chanting doesn't stop throughout the game, making it the loudest stand, but also one of the cheapest, so if you don't mind standing for most of the game, this is a good area to look for tickets.
South End
This is the opposite end, with equally affordable prices, but a much calmer, more family-friendly atmosphere.
Which area should you choose?
To help you make the best decision when buying your Galaxy tickets, we've put together this short table comparing the areas based on the preferences you might have, so you can choose the one that best suits what you're looking for and enjoy your experience to the fullest.
| Priority | Best area | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Best atmosphere | North End | This is the standing section where the club's supporters' groups are based, making it the loudest area of the stadium |
| Best visibility | Side stands | The side stands offer a better view of the whole field |
| First-time visit | East Stand | This is the area with the best balance of price, atmosphere and visibility |
| Families with children | South End or East Stand | Both areas offer a more relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, while still having excellent amenities |
| Tight budget | End sections | These are the areas with the most affordable tickets, especially in the corners |
| See the players up close | West Stand | This section has field-level seats, just a few feet from the players |
| Maximum comfort and exclusivity | West Stand | This section houses the executive boxes and climate-controlled suites, with the stadium's best amenities |

Other information
Founded in 1994, LA Galaxy is one of the ten founding clubs of MLS. From the very start it became a benchmark for the rest of the league, not only because it started winning titles, but because of its ability to attract big stars of world soccer. David Beckham's signing in 2007 changed the course of the competition, putting the league on the international radar and opening the door to more European stars. Robbie Keane, Steven Gerrard and Zlatan Ibrahimović followed, alongside local legends like Landon Donovan, the most important player in the history of American soccer.
LA Galaxy honours
LA Galaxy is the most successful club in the history of American soccer, holding more titles than any other team in MLS, its most important competition, but also with championships in other competitions, including the Concacaf Champions Cup, a trophy that's practically impossible for league teams to win. Tickets for Galaxy's games, from the cheapest to the most exclusive, are available on Livefootballtickets.com.

Rivalries
Main rivalry
El Tráfico vs Los Angeles FC
El Tráfico is the Los Angeles derby and one of the most intense and high-profile rivalries in MLS. Its name comes from the city's notoriously chaotic traffic, and it's in Spanish because of the region's large Latin American community. Since 2018, Galaxy's clashes against Los Angeles FC have delivered epic games, with thrashings, comebacks and spectacular atmospheres in both stands.
Secondary rivalry
The California Clásico vs San Jose Earthquakes
The California Clásico against San Jose Earthquakes was the club's first rivalry, inherited from the league's early years, and it's an eternal tug of war between the north and south of the state. It was Galaxy's great derby until LAFC came along.
