By Bus
Bus is a fast and convenient option with several lines stopping close to the stadium in Velsen-Zuid. Connexxion bus line 385 connects the stadium directly with Driehuis railway station. High frequency services will take you within a five to 10 minute walk of the ground and direct routes cover much of the IJmond region.
By Tram and Rail
Driehuis railway station is the nearest option, around a 2 kilometre connecting bus ride from the ground. Connecting buses are also within easy reach - these should be slightly less crowded on matchday.
Driehuis is the main connecting station for regional rail, with frequent services from Amsterdam and Haarlem. From here you can travel to the ground via a connecting bus service towards Velsen-Zuid.

SC Telstar was founded in 1963 in IJmuiden, through the merger of local rivals VSV and Stormvogels, making it one of the more distinctive soccer clubs in the Netherlands. Known affectionately as "de Witte Leeuwen" (The White Lions) by their supporters, the club has spent much of its history alternating between the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie, but has built a loyal following in the IJmond region that has stuck with the club through both good times and difficult ones.

SC Telstar is of course a real Dutch club, rooted firmly in the town of Velsen-Zuid near IJmuiden. Manager Henk Brugge continues the club's tradition of hands-on, homegrown coaching, working with a squad built largely around Dutch talent.
