AC Milan Tickets

AC Milan team header graphic featuring team branding and ticket information for upcoming games.
AC Milan, officially Associazione Calcio Milan, are one of the most decorated clubs in world football and the second most successful club in European Cup and Champions League history, behind only Real Madrid. The 2025-26 season was not an easy one. Not only did the Rossoneri finish 5th in Serie A with 70 points, also a Coppa Italia exit at the Round of 16 to Lazio on 4 December 2025 made it a difficult campaign under head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who was let go on 25 May 2026 after Milan missed out on Champions League football. Captain Mike Maignan wore the armband throughout, and there was at least one big highlight: Milan won both derbies against city rivals Inter, 1-0 through Christian Pulisic on 23 November 2025 and 1-0 again through Pervis Estupiñán on 8 March 2026. A new era begins for the 2026-2027 campaign too, with Ruben Amorim now in charge on a three-year deal. AC Milan share the San Siro, officially Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with city rivals Inter. The ground holds 75.923 spectators and sits in the north-west of the city, where the Curva Sud turns into a wall of red and black on every matchday. Also on a quiet midweek fixture, demand for a seat in this stadium rarely drops. Book all your AC Milan tickets for the 2026-2027 season securely online on Livefootballtickets.com. We currently have 5708 tickets available across all AC Milan fixtures, with prices starting from just $34 and an average ticket price of $198. Fans can purchase tickets for all AC Milan games throughout the season, home and away alike.

I was first hesitant about buying tickets through a website I hadn't heard of but I was very pleased with the service from LiveFootballTickets. I bought a reasonably priced ticket to the Arsenal v Manchester City Community Shield match and it was delivered the next day and successfully saved to wallet without any problems. On matchday the ticket scanning worked just fine and I was able to see a memorable match in my home city. Great booking experience! Highly recommended for football events

Stadium information

Name:

San Siro (officially Stadio Giuseppe Meazza)

Capacity:

75.923

Address:

Via Piccolomini 5, 20151 Milan, Italy

Club:

AC Milan

Description:

The San Siro, renamed Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in 1980 after the legendary forward who played for both Milan clubs, has been the shared home of AC Milan and Inter since 1947. It holds 75.923 spectators across three tiers, making it the largest club stadium in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. It isn’t just the size that stands out, also the unusual cylindrical concrete towers, carrying the spiral ramps supporters climb to reach the upper tiers, make the San Siro instantly recognisable on television screens around the world. In November 2025, AC Milan and Inter together bought the stadium and the surrounding grounds from the city of Milan for €197 million, bringing decades of municipal ownership to an end. You will feel the weight of that history as soon as you climb one of the towers for the first time. There is simply a huge amount of stadium to take in on a first visit.

The ground opened on 19 September 1926, originally built for AC Milan alone on the initiative of club president Piero Pirelli, before Inter moved in as a permanent co-tenant two decades later. The stadium hosted matches at the 1934 and 1990 World Cups as well as the 1965 and 2001 European Cup finals, and it will also host the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The third tier, added for the 1990 World Cup, also changed the whole character of the ground, turning a fairly open bowl into the steep, enclosed arena supporters know today. Demolition of the current structure is planned for 2031-2032, after which AC Milan intends to build a new stadium in San Donato Milanese, south-east of the city, while Inter is planning its own ground in Rozzano. For now, though, both clubs keep sharing the San Siro every other weekend, a rhythm that has shaped Milanese football for generations. This arrangement, unusual anywhere else in Europe, is also one more reason why the ground feels so unique.

Best way to travel to the San Siro

Once your AC Milan tickets are booked, it’s time to work out how to reach the stadium. The city of Milan recommends public transport on matchdays, mainly because parking right around the ground is limited. Not just by metro, but also by tram, bus and bicycle, you will get to the San Siro without any trouble. Working out the route can be a bit of stressful the first time round, but once you’ve done it once, you get used to it quickly. Here are your options:

By Train

Milan is served by two big long-distance stations, Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi, both well connected to the rest of Italy and beyond. High-speed Frecciarossa and Italo services get you here from Rome, Turin, Bologna and Florence in as little as an hour, and international connections arrive from Switzerland and France into Centrale and Porta Garibaldi. From Milano Centrale, take the M2 metro line to Garibaldi FS, then switch to the M5 line towards San Siro Stadio. From Porta Garibaldi, the M5 runs there directly, no need to change at Centrale first. Also from Malpensa Airport, the Malpensa Express takes you to Cadorna, from where the M1 and M5 lines connect through to the stadium. Not just the metro, regional trains R17, R22 and R27 also stop within walking distance of the ground on matchdays.

By Bus

From the city centre, several ATM bus routes and tram line 16 serve the area around the San Siro, with the tram stop just a short walk from the main entrances. Extra services are added on matchdays, not only towards the stadium before kick-off, but also back into town after the final whistle. The trip from central Milan takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic and the route taken. Also on the biggest Serie A matchdays, when the ground is close to sold out, you will find the trams and buses heading back very crowded right after the final whistle. Build in a bit of extra time for that.

By Bicycle

Milan is a flat city with a growing network of cycle paths, and the ride from the city centre out to the San Siro takes about 30 to 35 minutes along Via Novara or through Parco Monte Stella. You’ll find bicycle parking near the stadium perimeter. Not only do you dodge all the matchday traffic this way, the ride back into town afterwards, through the quieter western neighbourhoods, is also a genuinely nice way to end the evening. Most fans who try it once come back to it the next time round. Also for a first-timer who doesn’t know Milan’s traffic well, this option can end up feeling like the simplest of them all.

By Car

Milan is well connected via the A4, A8, A9 and the Tangenziale Ovest ring road, all of which feed into the streets around the San Siro. From the city centre, the stadium sits around 8 kilometres away via Via Novara, roughly a 25 to 30 minute drive outside peak hours. Those coming from Turin or Genoa take the A4 or A7 straight towards the ring road and follow signs for Stadio San Siro. You’ll find paid parking in the areas around the ground, and stewards help direct traffic near the stadium on matchdays. Getting out of the area can be a bit slow after the final whistle. Not only around the stadium itself, the ring road can also get heavy with traffic for a while after a big match. Those who arrive early get a better choice of parking, and also an easier way out afterwards.

The stands at the San Siro

The San Siro is split into four main areas, marked green, red, orange and blue on the club’s own seating maps: the Curva Sud, the Curva Nord, the Tribuna Est (also known as the Rosso side) and the Tribuna Ovest (the Arancio side). Each section has its own character, and which end counts as home or away depends on whether it’s AC Milan or Inter hosting. Wherever you’re sitting, you’ll never feel like you’re watching from a distance, since the steep third tier brings even the highest seats close to the pitch. Also this is one of the things that makes a matchday at the San Siro so special. Not only the home end, also the away section sits close enough to feel part of the game.

Curva Sud

The Curva Sud is AC Milan’s own end, the section where the club’s most passionate supporters gather behind the goal for the full 90 minutes. You will have the best atmosphere in the stadium right here, with a constant wall of noise, flags and choreography whenever Milan play at home. For someone who has never experienced a curva before, all that noise so close can be a bit of stressful, but if you want to feel what Milan really means to this city, the Curva Sud gives you a very special experience. A good choice if you plan to take seat only in a manner of speaking, since almost everybody around you will be standing and singing.

Curva Nord

On the opposite site of the pitch you will find the Curva Nord, home to Inter’s ultras on matchdays when Inter are the host club, and the section allocated to away supporters, in the top tier, whenever Milan play at home. Away fans travelling to San Siro for a Milan match are placed here, generally in blocks towards the back of the third tier. The view from up here is steep but complete, and you will see the whole pitch laid out below you. Not only the height, also the distance from the pitch is a bit more noticeable in this tier than lower down, so bring a good pair of binoculars if you want to follow every detail.

Tribuna Est (Rosso)

The Tribuna Est, marked in red on the club’s seating plan, runs along one long side of the pitch and includes the players’ tunnel and the technical areas. From here you have a clear, side-on view of the whole pitch across three tiers, and this is where most of the hospitality and premium seating is found. Tickets here are usually the most expensive in the ground. A good choice if you want to take seat close to the benches, with a full view of the action from the halfway line. You will feel closer to the coaching staff than in almost any other stand.

Tribuna Ovest (Arancio)

Directly across from the Tribuna Est sits the Tribuna Ovest, the orange side of the ground and a popular choice for families and first-time visitors. From here you get a very good view over everything that happens on the pitch, spread across the same three tiers as the Est side. Tickets in the Tribuna Ovest are a bit more affordable than the Est side, while the view is nearly identical. Not only is the sightline very good from the lower tier, also the upper tier gives you a full overview of the tactical picture. Also for a group visiting Milan for the first time, this stand tends to be a comfortable and relaxed choice.

Which stand should you choose?

We made this table so you can compare all four areas of the San Siro in one quick look. Check what matters most to you and you will find the right section.

Priority Best Stand Why
Best atmosphere Curva Sud Milan’s own ultras, flags and drums, loudest part of the ground for 90 minutes
Best view Tribuna Est Centrale Side-on sightlines across three tiers, closest to the dugouts and the tunnel
First-time visitor Tribuna Ovest Wide seating range, good overview, easy access from the M5 line
Families with children Tribuna Ovest lower tier Quieter than the Curva Sud, comfortable seating, clear sightlines
Budget-conscious Curva Sud upper tier More affordable than the main stands, still a full view of the pitch
Singing and standing Curva Sud Plan to stand, sing and follow the ultras for the full 90 minutes
Away fans Curva Nord (top tier) Blocks towards the back of the third tier, separate entrance, full pitch view
Premium comfort Tribuna Est hospitality Hospitality areas, padded seating, best service in the stadium

Club history

Milan Cricket and Football Club, today AC Milan, was founded on 16 December 1899 by Englishman Herbert Kilpin and businessman Alfred Edwards. Not only was the club founded by an Englishman, also its name has stayed “Milan”, the English spelling of the city, rather than the Italian “Milano”, ever since that first meeting. Within a decade the young club had already won its first Scudetto, in 1901, and Milan have gone on to become one of the two most successful clubs in Italian football history, alongside city rivals Inter. Also this is a piece of football history few other clubs anywhere in the world can claim, however hard some of them have tried.

AC Milan have won 19 Serie A titles, along with seven European Cup and Champions League triumphs, in 1962-63, 1968-69, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1993-94, 2002-03 and 2006-07, a tally that makes the Rossoneri the second most successful club in the competition’s history, behind only Real Madrid. The late 1980s and early 1990s side, built by coach Arrigo Sacchi around the Dutch trio of Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard, is still remembered as one of the greatest teams the sport has ever produced. Legendary players have worn the red and black shirt over the decades: Gianni Rivera in the club’s golden years of the 1960s, Franco Baresi and Paolo Maldini through more than two decades of defensive excellence each, and more recently Andriy Shevchenko, Kaká, Cafu and Zlatan Ibrahimović, who returned to the club twice over his career.

The 2025-26 season was a difficult one for the club. Head coach Massimiliano Allegri, back for a second spell in charge after taking over in May 2025, guided Milan to a 5th-place finish with 70 points, one place and one result short of the Champions League places after a shock 1-2 home defeat to Cagliari on the final day, 24 May 2026. Milan were also eliminated from the Coppa Italia at the Round of 16 by Lazio, 1-0, on 4 December 2025. Allegri was let go on 25 May 2026, and just over a month later, on 3 July 2026, he was appointed head coach of Napoli. Despite a season short on trophies, the club still gave its supporters one thing to celebrate: a clean sweep over city rivals Inter in both league meetings. Watching a club go through a manager change again can be a bit of stressful, but the 2026-2027 project under Ruben Amorim starts with real ambition.

AC Milan and the city of Milan

Milan is Italy’s financial and fashion capital, a city of over a million people and the economic engine of the whole country. AC Milan and Inter have shared the San Siro since 1947, an arrangement almost unique among Europe’s biggest clubs, and the rivalry between the two has shaped the city’s football culture for well over a century. Also the wider Lombardy region, from Bergamo to Brescia, follows both Milan clubs closely, giving Serie A matches at the San Siro a regional weight beyond the city itself.

Milan is also a city of deep football tradition beyond AC Milan and Inter themselves, and the San Siro will host the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, a rare moment when the stadium’s stage extends far beyond domestic football. On matchdays, the streets around the stadium fill with fans in red and black or in black and blue, depending on who is hosting, and the walk out to San Siro has become part of the ritual for generations of Milanese supporters. Also the bars near Piazzale Lotto and San Siro Ippodromo fill up quickly before kick-off, so if you want a table, arriving a bit early makes things easier.

Famous players

AC Milan has produced or hosted some of the greatest names in the history of the sport. Paolo Maldini made a club-record 902 appearances across 25 seasons and captained the side for well over a decade, a record most experts agree will never be broken. Franco Baresi, Maldini’s defensive partner for much of that era, wore the number 6 shirt with a level of authority still spoken about today. The Dutch trio of Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten and Frank Rijkaard turned Milan into European champions twice in a row, in 1989 and 1990, under Arrigo Sacchi. Andriy Shevchenko won the 2004 Ballon d’Or in Milan colours, and Kaká won his own Ballon d’Or in 2007, the same year Milan lifted their seventh European Cup. Today, captain Mike Maignan and forward Rafael Leão carry that tradition forward under Ruben Amorim. Not only the strikers, also the goalkeepers of Milan have their own long line of legends, which is part of why the shirt still means so much. Also the defenders of Milan, from Cesare Maldini all the way to today, get their own share of the club’s history.

AC Milan Honours and Trophies

AC Milan have won 19 Serie A titles, and seven European Cup and Champions League triumphs put the Rossoneri among the true giants of European football, second only to Real Madrid in the competition’s history. Also the club’s 8 Supercoppa Italiana titles and 5 UEFA Super Cups are an achievement supporters can be very proud of. Not only domestically, also across Europe, few clubs can show a trophy room quite like this one. It is a lot of silverware for one cabinet. Cheap and premium AC Milan football tickets for the Serie A and Europa League are available to buy now at Livefootballtickets.com.

AC Milan rivalries

Main rivalry

The Derby della Madonnina against Inter

The biggest rivalry in Milan’s world is the Derby della Madonnina, named after the golden statue of the Madonna that stands atop Milan Cathedral and looks out over the whole city. Both clubs share the same city, the same stadium and, in the beginning, even the same club, since Inter itself was formed by members who split away from AC Milan in 1908. Since then the two clubs have gone back and forth at the very top of Italian football, and the derby has lost none of its intensity. Also outside of Milan, this fixture is watched closely all across Italy. Picking a side can be a bit of stressful if you happen to be new to the city.

The two Derby della Madonnina matches of the 2025-26 season both went to AC Milan, 1-0 through a Christian Pulisic goal on 23 November 2025, when Hakan Çalhano&gcaron;lu also missed a penalty saved by Mike Maignan, and 1-0 again through Pervis Estupiñán on 8 March 2026. Two wins in the same city rivalry, and yet Milan still finished the season in 5th place, 17 points behind champions Inter. Not only the final league position, also the manner of it, a clean sweep over the reigning champions but a difficult season everywhere else, says something about how strange a campaign this was for the Rossoneri. You will hear both sides argue about this exact detail for years to come.

Further rivalries

Rivalry with Juventus

AC Milan and Juventus are two of the three most successful clubs in Italian football, and matches between them have decided Scudetto races going back generations. Juventus finished the 2025-26 season in the top half of the table, well ahead of a Milan side that struggled for consistency under Allegri, a coach who himself won five Serie A titles with Juventus before returning to Milan. Also away from the title race, the rivalry runs deep: both clubs have some of the largest fan bases in Italy, and the fixture regularly draws the biggest television audiences of the Serie A season. Not only in Italy, also abroad, you will find millions of neutral fans tuning in whenever these two clubs meet. Also for a neutral, this fixture is usually worth clearing an evening for.

Rivalry with Napoli

The rivalry between AC Milan and Napoli carries an extra layer of meaning after the 2025-26 season, in which Massimiliano Allegri managed Milan to 5th place before being appointed Napoli’s new head coach barely six weeks later, on 3 July 2026. Napoli finished the season as Serie A runners-up, and matches between the two clubs now carry the sharper edge of a manager facing his former employers. Also the history between the clubs, several title races decided in the closing weeks of the season since the days of Diego Maradona, gives this fixture a weight of its own heading into the 2026-2027 campaign.

Frequently asked questions about AC Milan tickets

Frequently asked questions about AC Milan tickets

AC Milan away tickets are a bit harder to find than tickets for home matches. This is due to the fact that there is much more space for home fans in every Serie A stadium than there is for Milan supporters in those grounds. We have managed to get our hands on AC Milan football tickets for almost every Serie A match. Select the away match you want to attend, then look at the ticket inventory. All our away match tickets are labelled. The most used labels for Milan’s away matches are: Milan section, Away section, Rossoneri fans section and away end. When the section label does not look like any of these, the tickets are for the home team. Not only the label, also the seating map next to it will show you exactly where in the ground you will be. Working this out on your own can be a bit of stressful, so ask our support team if you are ever unsure.
