Boulevard des Jardiniers, 06200 Nice, France
Description:
The Allianz Riviera is the home of OGC Nice and, with 36,178 seats, the largest stadium on the Côte d'Azur. It opened in 2013 in the Saint-Isidore district, in the Var plain to the north of the city, and is known for its curved roof of wood and steel and its eco-friendly design. The stadium hosted games at Euro 2016 and at the 2019 Women's World Cup, and also houses the National Sports Museum. Some of those fans can book their OGC Nice tickets through our secure booking system.
Best way to travel to the Allianz Riviera
Once you've booked your OGC Nice tickets, it's time to figure out how to get to the stadium. The Allianz Riviera sits to the north of Nice in Saint-Isidore, beside the A8 highway, and is well served by the city's tram network on game days. Here are the options you can use to reach the stadium.
By Tram
Tram Line 3 runs directly from Port Lympia to the Stade stop at the Allianz Riviera. There's a tram about every ten minutes before kickoff, and a tram every four to five minutes after the game to take fans back toward the port.
By Car
The stadium is right next to the A8 highway, with the Saint-Isidore exit close by, and there is parking at the stadium via Boulevard du Mercantour. Spaces fill up on game days, so it's best to arrive early or use the tram. A special game-day shuttle also runs to the Saint-Isidore area.
By Air and Rail
Nice Côte d'Azur airport is only a short distance away, and the main station, Gare de Nice-Ville, connects to the tram network in the city center. From either, Tram Line 3 takes you out to the stadium.
By Bicycle
Cycling to the Allianz Riviera is easier than you think. There's a free, secure parking area for two-wheeled vehicles on Avenue Pancho Gonzales, reached via Avenue Auguste Vérola. On a dry Riviera day it's an easy and pleasant way to reach the stadium.
Allianz Riviera guide
The Allianz Riviera has four stands under its sweeping roof. That's where we come in — we've got you covered with tickets for every single OGC Nice game. Below is a guide to each part of the stadium.
Tribune Ouest
The Tribune Ouest, on the west side of the field, is the main stand. It holds the premium seats, the boxes and the hospitality areas, and gives a clear view across the whole stadium. It's the most comfortable place to sit.
Tribune Est
Opposite, on the east side, is the Tribune Est, the other long stand. It offers a good side-on view along the length of the field and is usually a more affordable seat than the main stand.
Populaire Sud
Behind the south goal is the Populaire Sud, home to Nice's most vocal fans and known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. If you want to experience real French soccer, look for Populaire Sud tickets and be among the home crowd.
Visitors' section
Traveling fans are given a designated section of the stadium. If you're following your team to Nice, this is the area to look for, so make sure you pick the "away end" or away section when you book your tickets.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to make the best decision when booking your OGC Nice tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of the different areas of the stadium. Check what matters to you and you'll find the best stand for your needs.
| Priority | Best Stand | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Best atmosphere | Populaire Sud | The home end, where the loudest support gathers |
| Best view | Tribune Ouest | Main stand with a clear view across the field |
| First-time visitor | Tribune Ouest | Main stand with good views and access |
| Families with children | Tribune Est | Calmer side stand with clear sightlines |

Other information
Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice, known as OGC Nice or simply Le Gym, was founded in 1904 and is based in Nice, on the Côte d'Azur in the south of France. The club plays in red and black and is nicknamed Les Aiglons, the Eaglets. Nice is owned by the British company Ineos, the group led by Jim Ratcliffe, with Jean-Pierre Rivère as president.
Champions of France
Nice were one of the dominant forces of French soccer in the 1950s, winning four league titles in that decade and reaching the latter stages of the European Cup. The club added the Coupe de France in 1997, and in more recent years finished third in 2016-17 under Lucien Favre to reach the Champions League, with Mario Balotelli among their stars. Since Ineos took over, the club has been a regular in European competition and in the upper half of Ligue 1.
American influences
Nice has never had an American owner — the club has been in the hands of the British group Ineos since 2019 — but that could change. Ineos has put the club up for sale, and American investors are among the reported interested buyers who have visited the club's facilities. No US international has made his name at the Allianz Riviera yet, so for now the American connection runs through the screen and the city itself. Ligue 1 is broadcast in the United States on beIN Sports under a rights deal that runs through the 2028-29 season, and the Riviera is one of the most visited corners of France for American travelers, who can add a Ligue 1 game to a Côte d'Azur trip with ease.

Rivalries
Main Rivals
The Derby de la Côte d'Azur against Monaco
Nice's biggest rivalry is the Derby de la Côte d'Azur against AS Monaco, the two clubs of the French Riviera. The short distance between them and the contrast between the two clubs gives the matchup a real edge, and it's the game the Nice supporters look forward to most each season.
Minor Rivalries
Marseille and the big visitors
Nice also share a fierce rivalry with Marseille, with games between the two often heated affairs. Beyond the derby, the visits of the biggest clubs in the country, such as Paris Saint-Germain, are always among the most in-demand games of the season at the Allianz Riviera.
