It stands in the center of Lorient, close to the train station. The stadium has four stands: the Tribune Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne (the former Tribune d'Honneur) to the west, the Tribune Jean Floc'h to the east, the Tribune Lorient Agglomération to the north and the Tribune B&B Hotels to the south. The south stand was rebuilt in 2010 to raise the capacity, and the field is an AirFibr hybrid surface. The stadium also hosts the Festival Interceltique de Lorient each summer. Best way to travel to the Stade du Moustoir
Once you've booked your FC Lorient tickets, it's time to figure out how to get to the stadium. The Stade du Moustoir is in the center of Lorient, close to the train station, and is served by train, bus, boat bus, car and bike. Here are the options you can use to reach the stadium.
By Train
Gare de Lorient is in the center of the city, a short walk from the stadium. The station is on the TGV Atlantique line, with direct trains from Paris Montparnasse in around three hours, as well as regional services from Rennes, Quimper and Nantes. From the station the stadium is only a few minutes on foot.
By Bus
Lorient's buses are run by the Izilo network. Lines T1A, T1B, T2, T3 and T4 serve the city center and the stadium, with the nearest stops at Sécurité Sociale and Léon Blum, both a short walk from the stadium.
By Boat Bus
Lorient sits on a harbor, so the Izilo network also runs a batobus, or boat bus. Services from Locmiquélic, Port Louis and Gâvres cross the water for fans who live on the far side of the harbor.
By Car
From the RN 165 follow the signs for Lorient and then for Le Moustoir on the RD 465. A traffic and parking plan is put in place around the stadium on game days. Several free and paid parking lots lie within a five- to ten-minute walk, including Place d'Armes and L'Orientis Gare. Parking close to the stadium is limited, so it's best to arrive early.
By Bicycle
Cycling to the Stade du Moustoir is easier than you think. There's a bicycle park at Porte B, behind the Tribune Jean Floc'h, with a locker for helmets at the same spot. Lorient is flat and compact, so biking to the stadium is quick and easy.
Stade du Moustoir guide
The Stade du Moustoir has four stands set close to the field. That's where we come in — we've got you covered with tickets for every single FC Lorient game. Below is a guide to each part of the stadium.
Tribune Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne (West)
On the west side is the Tribune Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, the former Tribune d'Honneur, with around 3,000 seats. It's the main stand, holding the central premium seating and the club's hospitality areas, and it has a clear view across the field.
Tribune Jean Floc'h (East)
Opposite, on the east side, is the Tribune Jean Floc'h. Built in 1998, it's a two-tier stand of around 6,000 seats and gives a wide view across the whole field, which makes it a popular choice for a clear sightline.
Tribune B&B Hotels (South)
Behind the south goal is the Tribune B&B Hotels, the rebuilt south stand and the newest part of the stadium. It's the main home end and is home to Lorient's most vocal fans, with the club shop and the postgame area on the south concourse. This stand is known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium.
Tribune Lorient Agglomération (North)
Behind the north goal is the Tribune Lorient Agglomération, formerly named after the Keroman fishing port. It sits opposite the south stand, and the away section is set in the northwest corner of the stadium next to it.
Visitors' section
Traveling fans are given a section in the northwest corner of the stadium, alongside the Tribune Lorient Agglomération. If you're following your team to Lorient, this is the area to look for, so make sure you pick the "away end" or away section when you book your tickets.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to make the best decision when booking your FC Lorient tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of the different areas of the stadium. Check what matters to you and you'll find the best stand for your needs.

Other information
Football Club Lorient, known as Les Merlus, takes its nickname from the hake landed at Keroman, the fishing port in the town. The club was founded in 1926, growing out of a works team called La Marée Sportive, and plays in orange and black. For most of its history Lorient was a small, homegrown club, and it became a regular in Ligue 1 only in the modern era. The club is now majority owned by the American group Black Knight Football Club, who also own Bournemouth in England, with longtime owner Loïc Féry as president.
A proud Breton club
Lorient have a reputation for developing young players and giving them a platform in Ligue 1. The club's defining moment came in 2002, when they beat Bastia in the final to win the Coupe de France, still their only major trophy. They have twice returned to the top flight as Ligue 2 champions, most recently in 2025. Away from soccer, the Stade du Moustoir hosts the Festival Interceltique de Lorient each summer, one of the largest Celtic festivals in the world.
American influences
Lorient is one of the American-owned clubs of Ligue 1. Black Knight Football Club, the group led by Texas-born billionaire Bill Foley, first bought into the club in 2023 and has since become the majority owner, with longtime owner Loïc Féry staying on as president. Foley also owns the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and Premier League side Bournemouth, and he runs Lorient as part of a multi-club network, so player moves between the Moustoir and Bournemouth have become a regular feature of the transfer window. Ligue 1 is broadcast in the United States on beIN Sports under a rights deal that runs through the 2028-29 season, so American fans can keep up with Les Merlus every week.
