The Letzigrund is the home of FC Zürich, and it's a slightly unusual one. It was rebuilt in 2006 and 2007 and is first and foremost an athletics stadium, with a running track around the field. It has hosted the Weltklasse Zürich meet every year since 1928, and Armin Hary ran the first-ever ten-second 100 meters here in 1960. The other unusual thing is that FCZ share it with their city rivals Grasshopper, so the same ground swaps between the two clubs from week to week. A new stadium for both of them is planned on the old Hardturm site, but it has been through referendums and court appeals for years and there's no date for a move, so FCZ play here for now.
