This year was a bit challenging to get tickets via Manchester United club. Past 2 years goes smootly, but now to get tickets via their app - was challening as we where as well as members with the same login. Thanks for Sam - she help us and didn`t ignore till we got the NFC tickets. Thanks for this service.

Great experience, everything ran smoothly, the only thing that would be nice is getting the tickets a bit earlier than on the day of the game. but it is a minor issue.

It was good, only minor inconvenient was the fee that appeared at the very end, that added like 60 euros to the final prize

Stade de la Tuilière Lausanne

Description:

The Stade Olympique de la Pontaise was Lausanne-Sport's home for decades, until they moved to the Stade de la Tuilière in November 2020. The old ground was a huge open bowl that hosted games at the 1954 World Cup, but by the end it was far too big and far too cold for a club of this size. The Tuilière is the opposite. Designed by the Swiss firms mlzd and Sollberger Bögli, it seats 12,544 and the stands are pulled in tight around the field, which makes it a much better place to watch soccer. Some of those fans can book their Lausanne-Sport tickets through our secure booking system.

Best way to travel to Stade de la Tuilière

Once you've booked your Lausanne-Sport tickets, it's time to figure out how to get to the stadium. The Tuilière sits in the north of Lausanne, above the middle of the city, and the club advises everyone to take public transportation. Here are the options you can use to reach the stadium.

By Bus

Bus is how most fans get to the Tuilière. Lines 1, 20 and 21 all run up from the middle of Lausanne to the Lausanne Blécherette stop, right across from the stadium. The 1 is the one you'll most likely want if you're coming from the station side of the city. Services run more often on game days.

By Train

Lausanne is a main stop on the line along Lake Geneva, with direct trains from Geneva, Bern and Zürich, and Geneva Airport is about 45 minutes away. From Lausanne station you take one of the buses up to Blécherette. Give yourself a little longer than the timetable suggests on a game day, because the city gets busy.

By Car

If you come by car, exit the highway at Blécherette, which brings you out close to the stadium. You can park at the Vélodrome parking lot, which is free on Sundays, or at the Migros in Romanel, where it costs a few francs and there's a shuttle to the stadium. Don't try to park on the Route de Romanel itself — it's not allowed and it gets cleared.

By Bicycle

Cycling to the Stade de la Tuilière is easier than you think. It's a quick, healthy way to make your trip and saves you a lot of money. Be warned, though: Lausanne is built on a hill and the stadium is at the top of it, so the ride up is real work and the ride home is the easy part. On a bike you have all the freedom you need — you can get past traffic jams and avoid crowded public transportation.

Stade de la Tuilière guide

The Stade de la Tuilière is one of the smaller ones in the Swiss Super League. Its 12,544 seats are almost always sold out for the big games. That's where we come in — we've got you covered with tickets for every single Lausanne-Sport game. The stadium is divided into four sides: the Tribune Sud, the Tribune Nord, the main stand and the away sector.

Tribune Sud, the Kop Sud

The Tribune Sud is home to Lausanne-Sport's most vocal fans, and everybody calls it the Kop Sud. This is where you'll find the Loz Boys, the club's ultras group, and it's where the die-hard Lausanne fans sit. The Kop Sud is known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. If you want to experience real Swiss soccer, look for Tribune Sud tickets. The stand sits behind one of the goals, so whenever Lausanne play toward this goal, you'll get the authentic blue and white feeling.

Tribune Nord

On the opposite side of the Kop Sud you'll find the Tribune Nord. This end is mostly taken by season ticket holders and the official supporters' clubs, so it has a settled, regular crowd. It's loud without being quite as intense as the south end, which makes it a good middle ground if you want atmosphere but also a seat you can actually sit in.

Main stand

Along the side of the field you'll find the main stand. This stand offers perfect sightlines across the entire field. For a business-class experience, you can sit in the hospitality area. The main stand is a bit more about luxury and a bit less about the soccer atmosphere, but you can be sure you'll have the best view in the stadium. The dugouts are on this side as well, so you can hear the managers shouting and watch the players warm up from up close.

Away sector

The visiting fans get their own corner of the stadium, separated from the home ends. Especially when Servette come up from Geneva, you'll feel the tension and rivalry in this part of the stadium. When you book tickets for a Lausanne away game, this is the type of sector you'll end up in.

Which stand should you choose?

It's important to make the best decision when booking your Lausanne-Sport tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of the different parts of the Tuilière. Check what matters to you and you'll find the best stand for your needs.

Priority Best Stand Why
Best atmosphere Tribune Sud, the Kop Sud Home of the Loz Boys, singing all game
Best view Main stand, halfway line You look straight across the field
First-time visitor Main stand or Tribune Nord Good view and a calmer crowd
Families with children Main stand Seats under the roof, restrooms close by
Budget-conscious Tribune Nord The cheapest seats with a good view
Singing & standing Tribune Sud Expect to be on your feet
See the players Main stand, lower rows The dugouts and the tunnel are on this side
Premium comfort Main stand hospitality Padded seats and lounge access

Other information

FC Lausanne-Sport began in 1896 under a different name, Montriond FC, after the district of the city where the first players came from. They took the name Lausanne-Sport later and went on to become one of the strongest clubs in the country, with seven championships and nine Swiss Cups. The fans call them the Seigneurs de la nuit, the Lords of the Night. It's been a long wait for the next trophy, though. The last title came in 1965 and the last cup in 1999, and much of the time since has been spent going up and down between the divisions.

American influences

FC Lausanne-Sport is owned by the British group INEOS, so its money doesn't come from America — but the club still has a memorable US thread. Blaise Nkufo, who made his name at Lausanne earlier in his career, later moved to the Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer and scored the club's first-ever MLS hat-trick in 2010. It's a reminder that the Lausanne production line has reached all the way to the American game. The club has no USMNT players on its roster today, but that Sounders connection still resonates with US fans.

Lausanne-Sport Honors & Trophies

Lausanne-Sport consistently competes in the top tier of the Swiss Super League. The club has also returned to European competition in recent seasons, and these games draw a lot of attention from fans and ticket buyers. Rivalries

Main Rivals

The Derby lémanique against Servette

The Derby lémanique between Lausanne-Sport and Servette is the biggest game in French-speaking Switzerland. It's the two cities at either end of Lake Geneva, Lausanne and Geneva, and the rivalry runs through everything from soccer to politics to which city thinks it matters more. The rivalry has grown more and more intense over the years, and both sets of ultras have had their ends closed after trouble at these games. If you can only get to one Lausanne game, make it this one.

FC Sion

The other Romandy fixture is against FC Sion, up the valley in the Valais. The Swiss press bill it as a derby romand, and it has produced some bad-tempered afternoons over the years, though it doesn't carry the history of the Geneva game.

Minor Rivalries

Stade Lausanne-Ouchy

Lausanne now has a second club in the professional game, Stade Lausanne-Ouchy, who reached the Swiss Cup final in 2026. A city derby that barely existed a few years ago has started to mean something, and the fans of the older club aren't keen on sharing the town.

All our away tickets are labeled. The labels most often used for Lausanne's away games are: Lausanne-Sport section, Away section, Lausanne fans section and away end.
