Best way to travel to Parc des Princes
Once you've booked your PSG tickets, it's time to figure out how to get to the stadium. The club advises everyone to take public transportation. Here are the options you can use to reach the stadium.
By Metro
The metro is the fastest and most popular way to get to the Parc des Princes. Take Line 9 and get off at Porte de Saint-Cloud, which is the nearest station and only a few minutes' walk from the stadium. Line 10 with a stop at Porte d'Auteuil is another option, though it's a slightly longer walk. Both lines have connections across the whole of Paris, so wherever you're staying in the city you should be able to get to the stadium without any problems.
By RER
The RER C is a good option if you're coming from farther afield. Take it to Javel or Pont du Garigliano and then walk or take a short bus ride to the stadium. If you're arriving by train into one of the main Paris terminals, the RER network will get you connected quickly.
By Bus
The bus is a fast and convenient option, with several routes stopping close to the stadium. Bus lines 22, 62, 72 and PC all stop at Porte de Saint-Cloud, right next to the stadium. Lines 32, 52 and 88 serve Porte d'Auteuil. High-frequency services will get you within a short walk of the Parc des Princes from many parts of Paris.
By Bicycle
Cycling to the Parc des Princes is easier than you think. The stadium sits near the Bois de Boulogne in the 16th arrondissement, which has good bike routes running through the area. Paris's Vélib' bike-sharing program has docking stations close to the stadium. On a bike you have all the freedom you need — you can get past the traffic and avoid the crowded metro on game days.
Parc des Princes guide
The Parc des Princes is one of the bigger stadiums in France. Its 48,583 seats are almost always completely sold out. That's where we come in — we've got you covered with tickets for every single PSG game. The stadium is divided into four stands: the Tribune Auteuil, Tribune Boulogne, Tribune Paris and Tribune Borelli.
Tribune Auteuil
The Tribune Auteuil is located behind one of the goals. This is where PSG's most vocal fans sit. The stand is known for big tifos, nonstop singing and the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. If you want to experience real Parisian soccer culture, look for Auteuil tickets. Whenever PSG attack toward this end, the noise levels go through the roof.
Tribune Boulogne
On the opposite side, behind the other goal, you'll find the Tribune Boulogne. This stand is named after the famous Kop of Boulogne, one of the best-known ultras groups in French soccer. It holds home fans in the upper and lower tiers. Especially during Le Classique against Marseille, you'll feel the tension and passion in the Boulogne end like nowhere else.
Tribune Paris
Along the side of the field you'll find the Tribune Paris. This stand offers perfect sightlines across the entire field. For a business-class experience, you can sit in the prestigious VIP and hospitality areas located here. The Tribune Paris is a bit more about luxury and a bit less about the raw atmosphere, but you can be sure you'll have one of the best views in the stadium.
Tribune Borelli
It's no surprise that this stand sits on the opposite side from the Tribune Paris. There are also quite a lot of similarities. You get amazing views of the whole field, but you'll also be surrounded by a slightly quieter crowd. The Tribune Borelli is the main camera-facing stand, which gives the whole game day a real TV feel. From certain sections you can also watch the players warm up and see the managers on the touchline.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to make the best decision when booking your PSG tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of all four stands. Check what matters to you and you'll find the best stand for your needs.
| Priority | Best Stand | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Best atmosphere | Tribune Auteuil or Tribune Boulogne | Home of PSG's ultras, nonstop noise and tifos |

Other information
PSG were originally founded in 1970, the result of a merger between Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain. For a long time, Paris didn't really have a top-level soccer club to call its own. PSG changed that. The club built itself up through the French soccer pyramid and established itself as a Ligue 1 side in the 1970s. Canal+ bought the club in 1991 and brought in serious money and ambition, and the arrival of Qatar Sports Investments in 2011 raised the club to another level again. Since then, PSG have signed some of the biggest names in world soccer — Ibrahimović, Thiago Silva, Cavani, Neymar, Messi, Mbappé. The famous red-and-blue colors are now recognized all over the world.
American influences
PSG's American ties start in the boardroom. While Qatar Sports Investments remains the majority owner, the American investment firm Arctos Partners bought a minority stake in the club in 2023 — the first outside investment since the Qatari takeover. The club has run a US office in New York for years and treats the United States as one of its biggest growth markets, and American fans got to see the team up close at the 2025 Club World Cup, played on US soil. On the field, US international Timothy Weah came through the PSG academy and made his professional debut in Paris before moving on to Lille. With Ligue 1 broadcast on beIN Sports in the United States through the 2028-29 season, PSG are comfortably the most-watched French club in America.

Rivalries
Main Rivals
Le Classique against Olympique de Marseille
Le Classique between PSG and Olympique de Marseille is without doubt the biggest rivalry in French soccer. Some people call it the French El Clásico. It's Paris against Marseille — the capital against the south, money against passion, new money against old pride. The rivalry really took hold in the early 1990s when Canal+ bought PSG specifically to challenge Marseille's dominance. Every soccer fan in France knows the tension between these two clubs, on the field and off it. When PSG and OM meet, it's never just a soccer game.
Derby against AS Monaco
The rivalry between PSG and AS Monaco has been a big part of Ligue 1 for years. Monaco are based in a foreign country, which makes it a pretty unusual cross-border rivalry. But it's a real one. The two clubs have met over 110 times and faced each other in multiple cup finals. There was a time in the 2010s when Monaco were giving PSG a real fight at the top of the table. Most famously, Monaco pipped PSG to the Ligue 1 title in 2017 — with a young Kylian Mbappé leading the charge, before he crossed to the other side of the rivalry.
Minor Rivalries
Olympique Lyonnais
There's a long-standing rivalry between PSG and Olympique Lyonnais. Lyon dominated French soccer in the 2000s with seven titles in a row, and PSG were nowhere near them during that period. When Qatar took over and PSG started winning everything, Lyon were the main team still trying to compete. The power balance has completely shifted, but when these two meet there's always a bit of history in the air.
