Ther Racecourse, currently known as STōK Racecourse for sponsorship reasons, is the oldest international soccer stadium. Even though the names says otherwise, it is actually a soccer stadium. The stadium opened in 1807 as a racecourse. In 1872 the first soccer match was played in this stadium. This stadium lives and breathes history. There was a time the previous stadium owners wanted to destroy the stadium to sell the ground, a plan that was protested by the big Wrexham fanbase. The current owners understand the importance of the stadium and decide to improve the stadium rather than tearing it down.

By Train
Wrexham General Train Station is located just next to the STōK Cae Ras. Upon exiting the station, turn right and cross the bridge and the stadium will be in front of you. Please plan your journey in advance.
By Bus
Wrexham bus station is located in the center of town. From the bus station, head towards the prominent multi-storey car park and turn right along Mold Road. The ground will be located on the right-hand side, just after you cross the bridge over the railway tracks, about half a mile along this road.
