Shrewsbury Town
Wrexham also shares a notable rivalry with Shrewsbury Town. Matches between Wrexham and Shrewsbury have historically been intense. The rivalry is largely fueled by geographical proximity and the competition for regional pride between North Wales and Shropshire. Whenever they meet, the fixture draws a passionate crowd and a fierce atmosphere. Last season they met in League, both clubs won their home fixtures. In the end Wrexham was the big winner in this rivalry with its promotion, while Shrewsbury got relegated to League Two.

Wrexham and Notts County developed a rivalry during their shared time in the National League. Both clubs battled for promotion in recent seasons, leading to dramatic encounters and a mutual respect-turned-competitive tension between the fanbases.
