What Our Customers Say
Don't just take our word for it – here's what Newcastle United fans have said about booking with us recently on Trustpilot:
"Booked tickets for the first time to treat my friend who had retired and was a massive Newcastle United fan. Great experience from start to finish."
– Kingsley Stevenson, Trustpilot, May 2026
"Tickets arrived in good time – it was a hassle-free experience and, more importantly, Newcastle won 3-1!!"
– Jmeister, Trustpilot, May 2026
"First ever live match for my son's 18th at Newcastle United, and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was electric. We lost 1-2 but it didn't spoil the experience whatsoever. The only negative was that we were in unused season-ticket seats, which were literally five rows from the highest, furthest away place, but we could still just see everything! Excellent weekend, 10/10."
– Martin Ellis, Trustpilot, April 2026
"Great service. Tickets arrived two days before the game. No issues with entry and really good seats. Brilliant pitch view and had a great day. A dream come true to go to St James' Park and watch my beloved Newcastle United. Will be planning my next trip soon. Thank you so much."
– Lisa Yates, Trustpilot, April 2026
"Ticket was quick and easy to use. The only downside to the whole experience was Newcastle losing yet again, but I had a really good time at my first ever game. Thanks, guys."
– Ben Whiteford, Trustpilot, April 2026

Stadium Information
Name:
St. James' Park
Capacity:
52,305
Address:
Barrack Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4ST, United Kingdom
Description:
St. James' Park is one of the biggest stadiums in English football and one of the most striking, sitting right in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne with its distinctive, asymmetrical silhouette dominating the city skyline. The ground has been used for football since 1880 and has been home to Newcastle United since 1892. Over the years it has also hosted international football, rugby, matches at the 2012 Olympics and many other major sporting events. Its city-centre location, walkable from the main station, makes it one of the most accessible big grounds in the country.
The Best Way to Travel to St. James' Park
Once you've booked your Newcastle United tickets, it's time to figure out how to get to St. James' Park. The ground sits to the north-west of Newcastle city centre and is exceptionally well connected. If you're staying nearby, the healthiest option is simply to walk! Here are the best options for a matchday visit.
By Train
St. James' Park is around a ten-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, which is served by direct trains from across the country, including the East Coast Main Line. From the station it's a short, well-signposted walk up towards the ground.
By Metro
Newcastle is served by the Tyne & Wear Metro, a light-rail network with frequent services linking Newcastle Airport, the city centre, the coast and destinations south towards Wearside. The St James station sits right outside the stadium, making the Metro one of the easiest ways to arrive.
By Bus
Newcastle has two major bus stations for local and regional services, Haymarket and Eldon Square, both on Percy Street and around a five-minute walk from the ground. To reach the stadium, walk south-west along Percy Street and turn right onto Gallowgate, and St. James' Park will come into view on your right.
By Car
The postcode for your sat nav is NE1 4ST. The stadium is close to several main roads, and there are a number of public car parks signposted as you arrive into the city centre, but they get extremely busy on matchdays. For that reason we recommend using public transport wherever possible.
St. James' Park Guide
St. James' Park has four stands: the Gallowgate End, the Milburn Stand, the Leazes End, and the Sir John Hall Stand. Each has its own character, and your matchday experience will be different in each one. In this section we explain a little bit about each stand and what you can expect from booking your Newcastle United tickets for that specific stand.
Gallowgate End (South Stand)
Behind one goal sits the Gallowgate End, the spiritual home of the Toon Army and the most vocal part of the ground. This is where the singing starts and the noise is at its loudest, and it has long been the beating heart of the St. James' Park atmosphere. If you want to be in the thick of the passion, this is the stand for you.
Milburn Stand (West Stand)
Running along the side of the pitch, the Milburn Stand is the main stand, named after club legend Jackie Milburn. It houses the players' tunnel and dugouts, the directors' box, the bulk of the hospitality areas and the main TV cameras, so you'll get the classic "TV view" of the match from here. It's a three-tier stand with a mix of general and premium seating.
Leazes End (North Stand)
Behind the opposite goal to the Gallowgate is the Leazes End. It's a lively, family-friendly part of the ground with good views from behind the goal, and it complements the noise of the Gallowgate End at the other end of the pitch.
Sir John Hall Stand (East Stand)
Opposite the Milburn Stand is the towering, two-tier Sir John Hall Stand, which runs the length of the pitch and gives some of the best elevated views in the ground. Visiting supporters are housed in the upper tier of this stand, in the corner towards the Leazes End.
Which Stand Should You Choose?
It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your Newcastle United tickets. That's why we created this table with a quick comparison of all four stands. Check what matters most to you and you'll find the stand that fits what you're after.
| Priority | Best Stand | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Best atmosphere | Gallowgate End | The home of the Toon Army, where the singing begins |
| Best view | Sir John Hall Stand | Elevated, two-tier views along the length of the pitch |
| First visit | Milburn or Sir John Hall Stand | A good balance of atmosphere and views |
| Families | Leazes End | Lively, family-friendly area behind the goal |
| See the managers | Milburn Stand | Tunnel and dugout views |
| Visiting fans | Sir John Hall Stand | Upper tier, in the corner towards the Leazes End |

Other Information
Newcastle United are one of the most passionately supported clubs in world football, owned since 2021 by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund and chaired by Yasir Al-Rumayyan. Eddie Howe took over from Steve Bruce in November 2021 with the club in the relegation zone and transformed them into a regular European side. He guided Newcastle to two Champions League qualifications and, in March 2025, ended a 70-year wait for a major domestic trophy by winning the League Cup, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley. After a tougher 2025/26 campaign, Howe remains in charge going into the new season.
English influences
Few clubs are as closely tied to their local heroes as Newcastle. Alan Shearer, born in the city, is the club's greatest icon and, as the Premier League goal statistics show, remains the league's all-time top scorer with 260 goals. Kevin Keegan defined two eras on Tyneside, first as a talismanic striker and later as the manager of the thrilling "Entertainers" side of the mid-1990s. That local thread runs right up to the modern day through Geordie favourite Dan Burn and England forward Anthony Gordon.
Newcastle United Honours & Trophies
Newcastle United have a proud and storied history in English football, and although major trophies became rare in the modern era, the club ended a 70-year domestic drought with their League Cup triumph in 2025. This is a list of the major honours they've won.
