I was first hesitant about buying tickets through a website I hadn't heard of but I was very pleased with the service from LiveFootballTickets. I bought a reasonably priced ticket to the Arsenal v Manchester City Community Shield match and it was delivered the next day and successfully saved to wallet without any problems. On matchday the ticket scanning worked just fine and I was able to see a memorable match in my home city. Great booking experience! Highly recommended for football events

We take huge pride in these reviews. Our team works hard to give every fan an experience to remember, which is why we are also available on matchdays. Every review is visible on our Trustpilot profile, but here is a small sample from customers who bought European Championship tickets through us at Euro 2020 and Euro 2024:

Kevin Worrall from the UK came back to us after buying his Euro tickets the year before.

Spencer Fearn from the UK booked tickets for the Euro 2024 final.

Absolutely fantastic service. This is the first time using Live Football Tickets and after poor experiences with other ticket related agencies, mainly Viagogo, it was nervous! I did not need to be. As soon as I had placed the order for the Euro Final there was regular communication from LFT and my tickets arrived within a few hours. A brilliant service and highly recommended.

Review on Trustpilot
Atanas Kostadinov from Bulgaria booked two tickets for Italy vs Spain at Euro 2024.

It was my first time using reseller site for buying tickets. I couldn’t get tickets from the official site for Euro 2024 match, so I chose this site. I’ve bought 2 tickets for ‘Italy vs Spain’. Everything was great. The support is very good and they’ve answered all my questions really fast. There are administration fee which makes the tickets a bit expensive but I’ve received them on time and the whole process was great. So I can recommend this site and I would buy tickets again from here.

They will not qualify automatically – all four go through the 2026–27 qualifiers, with two safety-net places reserved for the best-ranked hosts who do not qualify directly (more on that in the history section below). Once the final draw is made in December 2027, each nation’s group fixtures and knockout path are confirmed and will appear on this page.

Best moment to book your Euro 2028 tickets

One of the most common questions we get is about timing. It’s hard to predict the exact moment that tickets prices are at its lowest. We did learn a few things from previous tournament. Usually the best moment to book your Euro tickets is 6 months before the tournament.

Euro 2028 ticket categories explained

Tickets are always divided into a few different categories. Sometimes it can be a bit confusing how these categories work. That’s why we set up this section to explain you all you need to know about the ticket categories for the 2028 Euro tournament.

  • Category 1: This is the best and therefore most expensive category. The beat seats wit the best view are in category one. Most category 1 tickets will be placed in lower tier along the side of the pitch.
  • Category 2: One step lower we find category 2. These seats are placed just outside of the Category 1 areas in lower and upper tiers.
  • Category 3: The cheapest category out of all of them. Generally these tickets are seats in the upper tier behind the goals on both ends of the pitch.
  • Accessible seating: In every stadium there is an accessible seating section. This section holds place for people with disabilities and limited mobility.

This is generally how ticket categories work. The exact breakdown of the categories will be announced closer to the ticket sale.

England

England has been close to silverware for quite some time now. Is it finally coming home, or staying home with the tournament being in the England? Since 2018 England got 3rd an 4th place finishes in the World Cup and 2 silver medals at the Euro’s. In 2021(the 2020 Euros) the lost on penalties in the final to Italy. 3 years later Spain was with 2-1 too strong in the 2024 final. Can they go one step higher on the podium this time? With home advantage across English venues, England is without a doubt one of the favourites to win this tournament. Follow the Three Lions with your own England Euro 2028 tickets.

Wales

Another host nation during this tournament is Wales. They will get the honour to open the tournament at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff. The passionate support of the Wales fans will give the team an extra boost towards a good tournament. If it’s enough to improve on the 2016 semi-final run will be seen. Be in Cardiff from the first whistle of the tournament – browse Cardiff tickets.

Scotland

Hampden Park is one of world football’s great old cathedrals, and Scotland will have a quarter-final on home turf to aim for. The Tartan Army travels like few others – expect Glasgow to be electric. Follow Scotland from Glasgow.

Republic of Ireland

The Republic of Ireland is also one of the co-hosts during this tournament. Some group games an a quarter final will be played at Avivia Stadium. This is their first major tournament since Euro 2016. Support them from Dublin.

Spain

The reigning European champions arrive as the team to beat after their commanding Euro 2024 win. With a golden generation led by Lamine Yamal and Pedri maturing further, Spain will chase back-to-back titles – and a record-extending fifth European crown.

France

Perennial contenders with strength in every position, France will once again be among the favourites. A deep, star-studded squad makes them a threat in any knockout tie, and they will expect to be there in the closing weekend at Wembley.

Euro 2028 stadiums

Where is Euro 2028 being held? The tournament is hosted by the United Kingdom and Ireland – four host countries (England, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland), eight host cities and nine stadiums. To keep travel manageable for teams and fans, matches are grouped by area, so following your nation through the group stage means short hops rather than long hauls. Below are all nine venues, with both their public and official names.

A common mix-up worth clearing up: Manchester’s matches are played at the Etihad (Manchester City Stadium), not Old Trafford, which is not a Euro 2028 venue. And despite early reports, Belfast is not a host city – Casement Park was dropped from the plans, so there are nine stadiums in four countries, with no Northern Ireland venue.

Euro 2028 facts and figures

Euro 2028 keeps the 24-team format used since Euro 2016, but its headline story is the hosting: for only the second time in the men’s Euros, the tournament is shared across multiple countries with a single joint bid. Here is how it compares with Euro 2024 in Germany.

Format and qualifying explained

Euro 2028 follows the established 24-team format, with one notable twist in how the hosts get there:

  • Group stage: six groups of four teams. Each team plays the other three (three games each) to decide the group standings.
  • Who advances: the top two from each group qualify for the Round of 16, joined by the four best third-placed teams – 16 teams in total.
  • Round of 16: straight knockout. Win and you go through; lose and you go home.
  • Quarter-finals: the eight winners meet across four ties in Cardiff, Glasgow, Dublin and Wembley.
  • Semi-finals: the four remaining teams play two ties, both at Wembley.
  • Final: Wembley, Sunday 9 July 2028 – the match for the Henri Delaunay Trophy.

Host qualification: unlike most previous Euros, the four host nations do not qualify automatically. England, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland all enter the 2026–27 qualifiers (12 groups of four or five teams). The 12 group winners and eight best runners-up go through directly, and two extra places are reserved as a safety net for the two best-ranked host nations that do not otherwise qualify. The remaining spots are decided by play-offs. Because Casement Park was dropped, Northern Ireland is not a host nation and does not receive any reserved host place.
