Superb! Easy to purchase a ticket. I had a live customer service chat once, the staff member was so polite, helpful and informative. I loved the communication after purchase. On the match day they contacted me on WhatsApp if I want an upgrade on my tickets for free and after my confirmation I got my tickets within a minute. Great experience, thank you.

This is the best and most trusted website to get your tickets to any world event. I have used them 3 times throughout the years, I have used other sites for football matches and they are so transparent and fast, the first time I used them was in 2018 for a Roma match and then made the mistake to use a different site for the PSG match in April and they were terrible, from the website, customer service and responses. this is the only site I trust and use!

Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email. No problems getting into the stadium and seats were great. Unfortunately my team’s performance was the only let down. Would definitely use this company again.

It was easier than I thought to find a group of seven seats together and very simple to book. Communication was excellent, the tickets were sent quickly and were easy to access, so no problems at the stadium. Seats were good and we had a great view. Everything worked well and I'll definitely be back for tickets again - many thanks!

Stadium information

Name:

Racecourse Ground (STōK Cae Ras)

Capacity:

12,600 (increasing with ongoing redevelopment)

Address:

Mold Road, Wrexham, LL11 2AH, United Kingdom

Description:

The Racecourse Ground – known commercially as STōK Cae Ras – is the historic home of Wrexham AFC, who have played there since 1864. That makes it one of the oldest football grounds in the world and, according to the Guinness World Records, the oldest international football stadium still in continuous use. It hosted Wales's first ever home international in 1877. Currently undergoing an exciting redevelopment under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the new Kop Stand will take the capacity to around 18,000. A lucky few of those supporters can book their Wrexham tickets through our secure booking system.

Best way to travel to Racecourse Ground (STōK Cae Ras)

By Train

The nearest station is Wrexham General, just a short walk from the ground. Exit the station and head along Mold Road, from where the Racecourse Ground is clearly visible. Wrexham General is served by regular services from Chester and beyond, making it easy to reach from across the region. Wrexham is also connected to the national rail network via Chester, with links to Liverpool, Manchester and London.

By Bus

Wrexham is well served by bus, with frequent services running into the town centre from across North Wales and the surrounding area. From Wrexham town centre it is a short walk to the Racecourse Ground, with several routes passing close to the ground. On matchdays it is easy to follow the crowds heading towards the stadium along Mold Road.

By Car

You can reach the Racecourse Ground via the A483 and A55, which link directly to the wider road network. Parking near the stadium is limited on a matchday, so it is advisable for supporters to use one of the designated car parks in the town centre, which are all within easy walking distance of the ground.

By Bicycle

Cycling to the Racecourse Ground is easier than you think. It is a quick and healthy way to make your journey and saves you money on parking. You can surpass traffic jams and avoid crowded public transport, and there is space to leave your bike close to the ground on a matchday.

Racecourse Ground (STōK Cae Ras) stadium guide

The Racecourse Ground is one of the most historic and atmospheric grounds in English football. The stadium is currently divided into four areas: the Mold Road Stand, the Yale Stand, the University End and the Kop. Whichever league Wrexham are playing in, we've got you covered with tickets for every Red Dragons match.

Mold Road Stand

The Mold Road Stand is the newest permanent structure at the Racecourse Ground, completed in 1999 with lottery funding. Running along the western side of the pitch, it holds around 3,500 seated supporters and houses the TV studio, eight private executive boxes and the Betty Buzz hospitality suite. This is the beating heart of the home support and houses the family area nearest the Kop end. It offers some of the best views in the stadium across the entire pitch, so if you want comfort and a great vantage point, this is the place to look.

University End

At one end of the ground sits the University End, also known to supporters as the Tech End, which was opened in 1978 and holds around 3,000 supporters in a covered, all-seated stand. This is where much of the vocal home support congregates – the acoustics are excellent and the atmosphere can be electric when the crowd is in full voice. If you want to be in the thick of the noise and the singing, this is the stand to choose.

Yale Stand

Along the east side of the pitch is the Yale Stand, named after the nearby Yale College that once stood behind it. This two-tiered covered stand runs the length of the pitch and has an interesting history, having had terracing at its front in former years. The team dugouts are located in front of this stand. This stand also houses the away supporters for Wrexham home matches.

The Kop

The Kop is the most storied and iconic part of the Racecourse Ground. The original Kop Terrace was once the largest standing terrace in the Football League, with a capacity of almost 9,500 at its peak, and its red-and-white painted crowd barriers became an iconic image of the ground. A major new permanent Kop Stand is currently under construction, designed by the architects behind the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which will hold around 7,500 supporters with safe standing, hospitality areas and accessible seating.

Which stand should you choose?

It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your Wrexham tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of all four stands. Check what's important to you and you will find the best stand for your wishes.

Rivalries

Main Rivals

Cross-Border Derby against Chester

The fiercest rivalry Wrexham have is with Chester, with the match between the two known as the Cross-Border Derby. The rivalry comes from the fact that the two clubs are just ten miles apart on either side of the England-Wales border, with Wrexham representing Welsh pride and Chester English. Even when the two clubs aren't in the same division, the derby remains one of the most intensely contested fixtures in non-league and Football League history, and fans of both teams can't wait for it to return.

Minor Rivals

Shrewsbury Town

The rivalry with Shrewsbury Town is a strong cross-border one rooted in geography and long-running competition along the England-Wales border. The two clubs don't meet as often as they once did, as they have frequently found themselves in different divisions, and fixtures between sides in different leagues tend to keep rivalries a little less heated. Even so, a meeting between Wrexham and Shrewsbury always carries a bit of extra edge.

Frequently Asked Questions about Wrexham tickets

Wrexham away tickets can be a bit harder to find than tickets for home matches, simply because there is far less space for away fans in any stadium than there is for home supporters. We manage to get our hands on Wrexham football tickets for almost every match. Select the away match you want to attend and then look at the ticket inventory. All our away match tickets are labelled. The most used labels for the Red Dragons' away matches are: Wrexham section, Away section, Wrexham fans section and away end. When the section label isn't similar to these labels, the tickets are for the home team.
