Description:
The Den is the home of Millwall FC, who have played there since 1993 when the club relocated from the original Den a quarter of a mile away. It was the first all-seater stadium to be completed in England after the Taylor Report, and was designed with effective crowd management in mind. Best way to travel to The Den
By Train
The nearest station is South Bermondsey, just a short walk from the stadium. Exit the station and head along Ilderton Road towards Zampa Road, from where The Den is clearly visible. South Bermondsey is served by Southeastern services from London Bridge, making it easy to reach from across the city and beyond.
By Bus
South London is well served by bus, with frequent services running through Bermondsey and the surrounding area. From Central London it is a straightforward journey to The Den. On game days it is easy to follow the crowds heading towards the stadium along Zampa Road and the surrounding streets.
By Car
You can reach The Den via the A2 and A2206, with the stadium signposted from the surrounding road network. Parking near the stadium is very limited on a game day, so it is strongly advisable for supporters to travel by public transport or park further out and walk or take a train in.
By Bicycle
Cycling to The Den is easier than you think. South Bermondsey is well connected by cycle routes and it is a quick and healthy way to make your journey. You can surpass traffic jams and avoid crowded public transport, and there is space to leave your bike close to the stadium on a game day.
The Den stadium guide
The Den is one of the most atmospheric grounds in English soccer. The stadium is divided into four stands: the Barry Kitchener Stand, the Cold Blow Lane Stand, the Dockers Stand and the North Stand. Whichever league Millwall are playing in, we've got you covered with tickets for every Lions game.
Barry Kitchener Stand
The Barry Kitchener Stand runs the length of the field on the west side of The Den. Named after Millwall's longest-serving player, it is the main stand at the stadium and houses the press box, the executive boxes and the club's hospitality areas. It offers some of the best views in the stadium across the entire field, so if you want comfort and a great vantage point, this is the place to look.
Cold Blow Lane Stand
Opposite the Barry Kitchener Stand you'll find the Cold Blow Lane Stand, home to many of Millwall's most loyal and vocal supporters. This stand is where you'll find the club's most passionate fans in full voice and is one of the most atmospheric parts of the stadium on a game day. The Cold Blow Lane Stand is at the heart of The Den experience.
Dockers Stand
Along the east side of the field is the Dockers Stand, named in honor of the club's historic working-class docker fanbase. This two-tiered stand runs the full length of the field and is a tribute to the community roots from which Millwall Football Club was born. It offers good views across the field and is one of the most characterful stands at the stadium.
North Stand
Behind one of the goals sits the North Stand, which is where away supporters are housed for Millwall home games. If you're following your team to The Den, this is the section to look for – remember to select the "away end" or away section when booking. It's also one of the noisiest parts of the stadium on a big game day.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your Millwall tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of all four stands. Check what's important to you and you will find the best stand for your wishes.
| Priority | Best Stand | Why |

Rivalries
Main Rivals
The Dockers Derby against West Ham United
The fiercest rivalry Millwall have is with West Ham United, with the game between the two known as the Dockers Derby. The rivalry dates back to 1899 when both clubs were formed by dockworkers on the River Thames, competing for the same trade and the same pride. Even when the two clubs aren't in the same division, the derby remains one of the most passionately contested and intense fixtures in English soccer, and fans of both teams can't wait for it to return.
Minor Rivals
Crystal Palace
The rivalry with Crystal Palace is a strong South London one rooted in close geography and long-running competition across the capital. The two clubs don't meet as often as they once did, as they have frequently found themselves in different divisions, and fixtures between sides in different leagues tend to keep rivalries a little less heated. Even so, a meeting between Millwall and Crystal Palace always carries a bit of extra edge.
