Brentford Community Stadium Seating Chart

Understanding the Seating Layout

The stadium has an unusual layout: North and South Stands run along the long sides (not behind goals), while East and West Stands are behind goals. Capacity: 17,250.

South Stand (Main Stand), ~5,500 capacity

Premium side with dugouts, media, and executive facilities. Two tiers (S101-S110 lower, S201-S210 upper). Best elevated views from upper tier central sections (S204-S207). Houses four premium lounges. Most spacious concourse with best food/drink options. Atmosphere: Moderate, not the vocal section. Families, neutral observers, corporate guests.

North Stand (Family Area), ~4,000 capacity

Single tier only. Sections N101-N104 (western side) are designated Family Stand for fans with children under 14. No alcohol sales, family-friendly atmosphere, stewards trained for families.

Good sightlines from rows 10-20 where children can see over hoardings. Rows 1-9 challenging for smaller children (under 1.2m). Northeast corner (N120) is part of away allocation. Enthusiastic but family-appropriate atmosphere.

West Stand (Vocal Section), ~4,000 capacity

Traditional home end and heart of stadium atmosphere. Two tiers (W101-W108 lower, W201-W208 upper). Most passionate fans here. Lower tier most intense with continuous singing. Upper tier offers better views while maintaining good atmosphere. Safe standing areas implemented here.

NOT suitable for young children or those seeking calm experience. This is authentic Brentford culture, expect passionate, loud support with possible strong language.

East Stand (Away Section), ~1,600-2,000 capacity

Seven northernmost blocks reserved for away fans (northeast corner typically). Excellent unrestricted views with no pillars. Minimal roof coverage, particularly corners, bring waterproofs.

Access via Entrances F, G, H from Capital Interchange Way railway bridge. Away fans typically noisy, contributing significantly to atmosphere. Good interaction with home fans in North Stand. Standard concourse facilities with typical soccer food and alcohol before game and half-time.

Best Seats for Different Experiences

Best for Tactical View

South Stand upper tier central (S204-S207, rows 15-25) or North Stand central (N106-N108, rows 12-20). Perfect height for tactical patterns. Avoid very front rows (limited perspective) and corner sections (poor angles).

Best for Atmosphere

West Stand lower tier (W101-W108) for most intense atmosphere. Expect standing, loud singing, passionate support for full 90 minutes. West Stand upper tier (W201-W208) offers good atmosphere with better views and slightly calmer experience.

Trade-off: Atmosphere sections prioritize experience over perfect sightlines. NOT for young children.

Best for Seeing Goals Close

West Stand lower tier (rows 10-20) for Brentford attacks. Spectacular views of nearby goals, electric celebrations. Trade-off: Goals at far end harder to see.

Best for Families

Family Stand N101-N104, rows 10-20. ONLY area for young children. Alcohol-free, family-appropriate. Stewards trained for families. Facilities nearby.

South Stand lower central (S104-S107, rows 10-20) also family-friendly if Family Stand sold out. Avoid: West Stand (too intense), East Stand corners (away fans), any front rows.

Best Seating for Accessibility

There are 138 wheelchair-accessible spaces across East, South, and West Stands. South Stand offers best elevated views. Companion seats provided free. Must book through club box office (phone or official website).

Six accessible turnstiles, large passenger lifts. Note: Kew Bridge station is NOT step-free, use Brentford station (1 mile, fully accessible) or Chiswick (30-min walk, accessible).

Limited accessible parking must be pre-booked (£15-20). There are 23 accessible restrooms throughout stadium. Sensory room available for fans sensitive to stimuli. Free audio description service, email/call to book. Assistance dogs welcome.

Safe Standing vs Seated Sections

Following 2022 legislative changes, safe standing implemented. Uses rail seating, barriers at standing height with seats available. West Stand (particularly lower W101-W108) features safe standing. Legitimized existing standing culture while improving safety.

Atmosphere differences: Safe standing sections notably more intense. Fans more engaged standing together, unified singing. West Stand exemplifies this, wall of noise, constant support.

Seated sections: Traditional game day experience. You'll hear West Stand but observe rather than participate. Better for tactical focus, families, anyone preferring not to stand 90+ minutes. South Stand, North Stand (except vocal areas), most upper tiers are seated culture.

Who it suits: Passionate fans wanting full immersion, fans preferring to stand, supporter groups. Who it doesn't: Families with young children, mobility issues preventing prolonged standing, strong preference for sitting, first-timers wanting calmer introduction.

Booking: Official website clearly marks sections as safe standing or seated. West Stand lower identified as safe standing. Cannot change once inside, must use assigned section type. Price differences minimal; choice is atmosphere preference.
