Rachel Parris-Rose from the UK booked tickets for Sporting CP vs Arsenal.
Rachel left us this review: Great service and communication. I purchased tickets for my husband and son for Sporting v Arsenal (26/11/2024) they had an amazing time! Although the prices for tickets are VERY expensive, would be great if the prices could be a little more competitive, I would buy from you guys more often but £780 for 2 tickets is the only down side considering how much they are at face value! Non the less they both had the best night! Thank you.

Stadium information
Name:
Estádio José Alvalade
Capacity:
52,095
Address:
Rua Professor Fernando da Fonseca, 1600-616 Lisbon, Portugal
Description:
The Estádio José Alvalade is the home of Sporting CP and has been since 2003. It is named after José Alvalade, the founder and first member of the club. The stadium is the centre of the Alvalade XXI complex, designed by Portuguese architect Tomás Taveira, and was built at a cost of €184 million. It was constructed to host matches at UEFA Euro 2004 and staged five games at that tournament, including the semi-final in which Portugal beat the Netherlands 2–1. The official opening took place on 6 August 2003, when Sporting beat Manchester United 3–1 in a friendly that was Cristiano Ronaldo's final appearance for the club. The ground hosted the 2005 UEFA Cup final and is a UEFA five-star stadium. After the removal of the moat ahead of the 2025–26 season, capacity increased to 52,095. Some of those supporters can book their Sporting CP tickets through our secure booking system.
Best way to travel to Estádio José Alvalade
When you've booked your Sporting CP tickets it's time to find out how you can get to the stadium. The club advises everybody to take public transport. These are the options you can use to get to the Stadium.
By Metro
The nearest metro station is Campo Grande, a short walk from the stadium. Campo Grande is served by the Green Line (Linha Verde) and the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) of the Lisbon Metro. The Yellow Line runs north to south through the city, while the Green Line connects to the centre and Baixa. Follow the fans off the metro at Campo Grande and you won't get lost.
By Bus
There is a bus terminal at Campo Grande, next to the metro station, served by several Carris routes and regional companies. The terminal is one of the main interchanges in the north of Lisbon, so a large number of routes from across the city and the suburbs stop here, within walking distance of the ground.
By Car
The Segunda Circular, a major ring road of Lisbon, runs close to the stadium and can be reached via the exit Estádio de Alvalade. The stadium has 1,315 underground parking spaces and there are several other car parks around the ground, but space is limited on a matchday, so the club recommends public transport.
By Bicycle
Cycling to the Estádio José Alvalade is easier than you think. It is a quick and healthy way to make your journey and saves you a lot of money. On the bicycle you've got all the freedom you need. You can surpass traffic jams and avoid crowded public transport.
Estádio José Alvalade guide
The Estádio José Alvalade is one of the bigger ones in the Primeira Liga. The 52,095 seats are almost always sold out. That's where we come in, we've got you covered with tickets for every single Sporting CP match. The stadium is divided in four sections, the South Stand, the North Stand, the East Stand and the West Stand.
South Stand
The South Stand is home of Sporting CP's most vocal supporters. This is where the Juventude Leonina, the club's main ultras group, take seat. The stand is located behind one of the goals. The South Stand is known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. When you want to experience the real Portuguese football, you need to look for South Stand tickets. Whenever Sporting play towards this goal, you will get the authentic Sporting CP feeling.
North Stand
On the opposite site of the South Stand, you will find the North Stand. This stand is behind the other goal. This is also where the away fans take seat, in a corner of the North Stand. So if you're following your team to Alvalade, this is the place you need to look for. Don't forget to select the "away end" or away section when booking. The rest of the North Stand holds home fans. Especially during the big games, you will feel the tension and rivalry in the North Stand.
East Stand
Along the side of the pitch you will find the East Stand. This stand offers good sightlines across the whole pitch. The stand runs along the full length of the field. You get a clear view of the game from the side. The East Stand is a good pick for your first Sporting match. It's a bit more about the view and a bit less about the noise. But you know for sure you will see everything.
West Stand
It won't be any surprise that this stand is on the opposite side of the East Stand. The West Stand is the main stand. It is located on the side of the dugouts, which gives you a little bit extra. You can hear the managers shouting and see the players warming-up from up close. This stand also holds the VIP and business seats and the hospitality lounges, so it's a bit more about the luxury and a bit less about the football atmosphere. But you know for sure you will have a great view.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your Sporting CP tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison about all four stands. Check what's important to you and you will find the best stand for your wishes.

Portuguese influences
Sporting CP is of course a real Portuguese club, but what are the actual Portuguese influences at the moment? On the managerial front the club is led by Portuguese head coach Rui Borges, with Frederico Varandas as club president. Rivalries
Main Rivals
O Dérbi de Lisboa against Benfica
The match between Sporting CP and Benfica is known as O Dérbi de Lisboa, the Lisbon derby, and is one of the fiercest rivalries in world football. The rivalry comes from the fact that both clubs are based in Lisbon, with their stadiums just three kilometres apart, and both claim to be the city's biggest club. The rivalry became heavier and heavier when the two clubs began to compete season after season for the Primeira Liga title and for the loyalty of the capital, turning every meeting between Sporting and Benfica into a fixture that can decide the destination of the league.
Porto
Sporting CP also have a strong rivalry with the third member of the "Big Three", Porto. These three clubs have won every Primeira Liga title bar two in the league's history. When Sporting host Porto at Alvalade, or travel north to the Estádio do Dragão, the title race is often on the line, which makes this one of the most watched fixtures of the season.
Minor Rivalries
Belenenses
There is a geographic background to this rivalry with Belenenses. Both clubs come from the Lisbon area, and for much of the 20th century Belenenses were seen as the city's third force and a regular rival for Sporting. The clubs have spent recent seasons in different divisions, which has cooled the fixture, but the meeting still carries history for older supporters of both sides.
