Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been Atlanta United's home since 2017 and is shared with the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. It is regarded as one of the most impressive stadiums in the world thanks to its retractable roof, which mimics a camera lens, and its striking circular screen that wraps around the entire upper tier. Located in downtown Atlanta, it holds more than 70,000 spectators, although normally only the lower bowl is opened, with the full stadium used only for the biggest matches, reaching attendance figures no other team in the league can match.
The best way to get to Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Once you have your tickets for an Atlanta match, you will need to work out how to get to the stadium. Here are some options so you can get an idea of which one suits you best.
By metro
Vine City and GWCC/CNN Center stations, on the MARTA blue and green lines, are less than a ten-minute walk from the stadium, connecting directly with the airport and the rest of the city, which makes this the most recommended option.
On foot
From downtown Atlanta, the stadium is within walking distance of most hotels in the area, passing through Centennial Olympic Park. This walk can be a great option to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere, as the area fills up with local supporters.
By car

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the largest venue in MLS and its configuration changes depending on how much interest each match generates, so the experience depends a lot on the area you choose. That's where we come in, as we have tickets for every Atlanta match. The stadium has four sectors, like any other, but its division is more relevant in terms of levels or heights.
On both sidelines the view of the whole pitch is better, however, as this is a stadium designed primarily for the NFL, some of the seats may have restricted views. The same applies to the sectors behind the goals, which can be a long way from certain areas of the pitch.
All around the stadium you will find VIP and premium areas. Most of them are located on the sidelines, in the lower section, where you will have access to private lounges with better food options and better seats.
As for the type of experience each level offers, the best VIP lounges in the stadium are at pitch level. Just above is the lower tier, which also has some premium lounges, but even if you are not in one of them, this section is ideal for following the action up close. On the sidelines the visibility is excellent, while behind the goals, where seats tend to be cheaper, there are areas of the pitch you might not be able to see.
In the middle tier you will be high enough to follow the whole game in detail and close enough to feel involved, especially in the central part of the sidelines. On this level, as well as on the upper tier, there is a raised walkway-style bridge at the south-east end that links the two corners of the venue. It is an area from which you can watch the match standing up.
Finally, there is the upper tier, where seats are a little cheaper, but you may feel quite far from the pitch, as between each of the levels there is a further level given over to suites, for those who want a more exclusive experience, and to the press box. Throughout the venue, no matter which level, the facilities are first class and you will find bars, restaurants and shops in whichever section you choose.
