Can't recommend enough obviously you pay an extra £100 to what retail is but for the experience and memories you make money isn't a price.

Chris Foley from the UK booked tickets for Newcastle United vs Benfica.
Chris left us this review:
I had heard about this site but never used it. Trying to get a ticket for a toon game in the ballots is a joke, so reverted to giving this site a gamble so my son could experience the full atmosphere at St James's, other than pre season friendlies. You do pay more for the tickets obviously but for the memories, if you're like me and barely get chance of a ticket, then its more than worth it. Early 13th birthday gift for my son and what a memory that'll last forever. The look on my sons face. Will certainly be using again, that's for sure!

Victor from France booked tickets for Chelsea vs Benfica.
Victor left us this review:
I did a lot of research to find a serious site. And after hours of analysis looking at reviews on trustpilot, I decided to try the "Livefootballtickets" adventure. I was scared, until the day of the match, but as soon as I placed the order, I was immediately contacted by email and they explained all the steps for the day, and as expected I received my eTicket 24 hours before the match, then on the day of the match I received the instructions by email and a whatsapp number to call in case of emergency, and everything went well. Really a very good experience.

Stadium information
Name:
Estádio da Luz
Capacity:
68,100
Address:
Av. Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, 1500-313 Lisbon, Portugal
Description:
The Estádio da Luz, officially the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, is the home of SL Benfica and has been since 2003. It replaced the old Estádio da Luz, which once held 120,000 people. The new ground opened on 25 October 2003 with a match against Uruguayan side Nacional. It was designed by HOK Sport, now Populous, and built at a cost of €160 million for UEFA Euro 2004. The stadium hosted the Euro 2004 final, where Portugal lost 1–0 to Greece, as well as the 2014 and 2020 UEFA Champions League finals. The polycarbonate roof sits on four big steel arches and lets the sunlight in. The fans call it "A Catedral", the Cathedral. After renovations in July 2025 the capacity was increased to 68,100, the biggest in Portugal. Some of those supporters can book their SL Benfica tickets through our secure booking system.
Best way to travel to Estádio da Luz
When you've booked your SL Benfica tickets it's time to find out how you can get to the stadium. The club advises everybody to take public transport. These are the options you can use to get to the Stadium.
By Metro
The metro is the easiest way to get to the Estádio da Luz. The stadium sits between two stations on the Blue Line (Linha Azul). Colégio Militar/Luz is the closest one, right next to the ground. Alto dos Moinhos is on the other side and just a short walk away. The Blue Line runs across Lisbon, so you can reach the stadium from the city centre with no changes. Follow the fans off the metro and you won't get lost.
By Bus
Several Carris bus routes stop near the Estádio da Luz, around Colégio Militar and the Colombo shopping centre next door. The metro is the faster option on a matchday, but the buses cover much of the city and link up with the metro stations close to the ground.
By Car
The Segunda Circular, a major ring road of Lisbon, runs close to the stadium. The Centro Comercial Colombo, right next to the ground, has a big car park you can use. Space fills up fast on a matchday, so the club recommends public transport.
By Bicycle
Cycling to the Estádio da Luz is easier than you think. It is a quick and healthy way to make your journey and saves you a lot of money. On the bicycle you've got all the freedom you need. You can surpass traffic jams and avoid crowded public transport.
Estádio da Luz guide
The Estádio da Luz is the biggest stadium in Portugal. The 68,100 seats are almost always sold out. That's where we come in, we've got you covered with tickets for every single SL Benfica match. The stadium is divided in four sections, the South Stand, the North Stand, the East Stand and the West Stand.
South Stand
The South Stand is home of SL Benfica's most vocal supporters. This is where the No Name Boys and the Diabos Vermelhos, the club's main ultras groups, take seat. The stand is located behind one of the goals. The South Stand is known for the loudest atmosphere in the stadium. When you want to experience the real Portuguese football, you need to look for South Stand tickets. Whenever Benfica play towards this goal, you will get the authentic SL Benfica feeling.
North Stand
On the opposite site of the South Stand, you will find the North Stand. This stand is behind the other goal. This is also where the away fans take seat, in a corner of the North Stand. So if you're following your team to the Luz, this is the place you need to look for. Don't forget to select the "away end" or away section when booking. The rest of the North Stand holds home fans. Especially during the big games, you will feel the tension and rivalry in the North Stand.
East Stand
Along the side of the pitch you will find the East Stand. This stand offers good sightlines across the whole pitch. The stand runs along the full length of the field. You get a clear view of the game from the side. The East Stand is a good pick for your first Benfica match. It's a bit more about the view and a bit less about the noise. But you know for sure you will see everything.
West Stand
It won't be any surprise that this stand is on the opposite side of the East Stand. The West Stand is the main stand. It is located on the side of the dugouts, which gives you a little bit extra. You can hear the managers shouting and see the players warming-up from up close. This stand also holds the presidential box, the business seats and the hospitality lounges, so it's a bit more about the luxury and a bit less about the football atmosphere. But you know for sure you will have a great view.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your SL Benfica tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison about all four stands. Check what's important to you and you will find the best stand for your wishes.

Other information
Sport Lisboa e Benfica was founded on 28 February 1904 in Lisbon. The club is one of Portugal's "Big Three" alongside Porto and Sporting CP, and has never been relegated from the top flight. Benfica are nicknamed "As Águias" (the Eagles) and "os Encarnados" (the Reds), and a real eagle named Vitória flies around the stadium before home games. Benfica hold the Guinness world record for the most paid-up members of a football club, with well over 300,000. Long-time captain Nicolás Otamendi left the club at the end of the 2025–26 season, with José Mourinho also departing and Marco Silva taking over as head coach for the 2026-2027 season.
Portuguese influences
SL Benfica is of course a real Portuguese club, but what are the actual Portuguese influences at the moment? On the managerial front the club is led by Portuguese head coach Marco Silva, who returned home after five years at Fulham, with club legend Rui Costa as president. On the pitch things are clear too. António Silva and Tomás Araújo are the home-grown centre-backs the club is building around, and Rafa Silva is back at the Luz. These Portuguese players are leading the team and the next generation.

Rivalries
Main Rivals
O Clássico against Porto
The match between SL Benfica and Porto is known as O Clássico and is the biggest game in Portuguese football. The rivalry comes from the fact that the two clubs are the most successful and most supported in the country, with Benfica representing Lisbon and the capital and Porto representing the north. The rivalry became heavier and heavier when the two clubs began to share almost every league title between them, turning each meeting into a fixture that often decides the destination of the Primeira Liga.
O Dérbi de Lisboa against Sporting CP
SL Benfica also have a fierce city rivalry with Sporting CP, known as O Dérbi de Lisboa, the Lisbon derby. Both clubs are based in Lisbon, with their stadiums just three kilometres apart, and both claim to be the city's biggest club. The derby is one of the most heated fixtures of the season and the away end is always sold out.
Minor Rivalries
Belenenses
There is a geographic background to this rivalry with Belenenses. Both clubs come from the Lisbon area, and the fixture was once one of the city's biggest games. The clubs have spent recent seasons in different divisions, which has cooled the rivalry, but it still carries history for older supporters of both sides.
