The best way to get to the Santiago Bernabéu
Once you have your tickets for a Real Madrid match, you will need to work out how to get to the stadium. The club recommends avoiding driving to the stadium and using public transport instead, as traffic is usually heavy in the surrounding area on matchdays. Here are the best options:
By underground
The underground is the most convenient and quickest way to get there. Santiago Bernabéu station (line 10) is the nearest and is located right next to the stadium. From central Madrid, you can take line 10 at Plaza de España or Tribunales station. You can also get there by changing from other lines, for example line 1 from Puerta del Sol or Atocha station.
By bus
If you are near Atocha, Paseo del Prado or Plaza de Cibeles, you can take buses 14 or 27. If you take line 14, head towards Avenida Pío XII and you will reach the stadium via Paseo de la Habana. If you take line 27, head towards Plaza de Castilla and get off at Plaza de Lima, just a few metres from the stadium.
By commuter rail
Multiple lines connect to Nuevos Ministerios station, and from there the stadium is only a 15-20 minute walk away. Line 10 of the underground also passes through that station, leaving you just one stop away from Santiago Bernabéu station if you would rather not walk.
