The Sportpark Ronhof holds 16,626 spectators for league matches, split across the Main Stand, the North Stand, the Back Straight and the Südkurve, at a ground the club has phased through renovations from a 1997 modernisation right up to the completed 2018 Main Stand rebuild. Not only is the stadium fully roofed on every side, also its floodlights, installed in 1999, still light up the ground with the South Stand running its own separate lighting rig due to the roof overhang. The pitch has had undersoil heating since 2007, and this is an English football-only ground, with no running track around the pitch. You will find wheelchair spaces on a raised, covered platform near the Main Stand, and you will feel more than a century of history the moment you take seat.
Best way to travel to the Sportpark Ronhof

Drivers should take the A73, exit “Fürth-Ronhof”, straight to the stadium car park. Parking directly at the ground is limited, so the club points fans towards the RWS facility at Kronacher Straße 63, which charges €6 per vehicle. Away buses and guest parking are routed via exit “Fürth-Poppenreuth” onto Laubenweg and Alte Reutstraße, arriving directly at Gate M next to the guest blocks, kept fully separate from the home-side access roads.

Bike racks are available at Gate G on Laubenweg, though helmets have to be checked in at the entrance rather than carried inside the ground.
Sportpark Ronhof guide
The Sportpark Ronhof has been rebuilt in stages since the 1950s, with the South Stand expansion and the Main Stand reconstruction, completed in 2018, the most recent major work, and the fully roofed ground keeps the noise locked in on a big night. On the opposite side from the main stand sits the section most associated with the home support, but every stand plays its own part on a matchday in Fürth.
Südkurve
The Südkurve holds around 6,700 fans and is where das Kleeblatt’s loudest supporters gather, with songs that start well before kick-off and rarely let up for the full 90 minutes.
Main Stand
Rebuilt and completed in 2018, the Main Stand is fully seated and covered, giving the calmest and most comfortable view of the action from around 2,700 seats.

Club history
SpVgg Greuther Fürth was founded on 23 September 1903, and nothing in the club’s long history tops the golden years of the 1910s and 20s: three German championships, in 1914, 1926 and 1929, the first of which still holds the record for the longest completed match in German football history at 154 minutes, decided against VfB Leipzig. Add five titles in the old Southern German Cup, a record still standing today, and das Kleeblatt’s trophy cabinet is one of the most historic outside the modern top flight. The club bounced between the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga through the 2010s and 2020s, promoted as runners-up in 2020-21 and relegated again after just one season in 2021-22, before surviving a relegation playoff against Rot-Weiss Essen in May 2026 to stay in the 2. Bundesliga for 2026-27.
Greuther Fürth closed out the 2025-26 season in 16th place in the 2. Bundesliga, needing the playoff to stay up. Heiko Vogel, appointed head coach on 1 December 2025 on a contract through summer 2027, kept his job into 2026-27, with Felix Klaus taking over the captaincy from departing skipper Branimir Hrgota over the summer, supported by Paul Will and Dennis Srbeny as vice-captains.
