The Stade Jean-Bouin is a 20,000 seat stadium in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, named after the French Olympic runner Jean Bouin. It first opened in 1925 and was rebuilt between 2010 and 2013 to a design by the architect Rudy Ricciotti, with a distinctive outer shell of fibre reinforced concrete. Paris FC moved in for the 2025-26 season, sharing the ground with the Stade Français rugby club under an agreement that runs to at least 2029. The pitch is an artificial surface, and the stadium stands directly across the road from the Parc des Princes, the home of Paris Saint-Germain, which makes the Paris derby one of the closest in world football. Paris Football Club was founded in 1969 to give the French capital a leading club. In 1970 it merged with Stade Saint-Germain to form Paris Saint-Germain, but the two split in 1972: Paris FC kept the top flight place, while Paris Saint-Germain started again lower down the pyramid. Paris Saint-Germain went on to become one of the richest clubs in the world, while Paris FC spent most of the following decades in the lower divisions, returning to Ligue 1 in 2025 after a 46 year absence. The club plays in blue, is nicknamed Les Parisiens, and is now majority owned by the Arnault family through their Agache holding, with Red Bull as a minority partner and Pierre Ferracci as president.

Since the Arnault family takeover, Paris FC has set out to climb the Ligue 1 table, with Red Bull's head of global soccer, Jürgen Klopp, involved in the wider project. The women's side has long been the more successful half of the club: Paris FC Féminine are regulars in the Champions League and won the Coupe de France in 2025, beating Paris Saint-Germain in the final. The men's side will look to build on a solid first season back in the top flight.
