SSC Napoli Tickets

Napoli team header graphic featuring team branding and ticket information for upcoming matches.
SSC Napoli, founded in 1926, is one of the most passionate clubs in Italy and the footballing voice of the south of the country. Not only did the Azzurri finish the 2025-26 Serie A season in 2nd place with 76 points, eleven behind champions Inter Milan, also winning the 2026 Supercoppa Italiana against Bologna (2-0 in Riyadh) added one more trophy to the cabinet. Head coach Antonio Conte left the club by mutual consent at the end of the season, and since 3 July 2026 Massimiliano Allegri has taken over the bench, fresh off his sacking from AC Milan. Captain Matteo Politano wore the armband throughout the 2025-26 season. Also in the Coppa Italia, not in the round of 16 but in the quarter-finals, Napoli were knocked out on penalties by promoted Como. Not only the title race, also the head-to-head against rivals Juventus was split down the middle: Napoli won 2-1 at home thanks to a brace from Rasmus Højlund on 7 December 2025, before Juventus responded with a 3-0 win on 25 January 2026. SSC Napoli play at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, in the Fuorigrotta district. The stadium holds 54,726 spectators and is named after the club legend who led it to its greatest titles in the 1980s. Even for a quiet midweek match, demand for a seat in this stadium rarely drops. Book all your SSC Napoli tickets for the 2026-2027 season safely online at Livefootballtickets.com. We currently have 1307 tickets available for all SSC Napoli matches, with prices starting from just $57 and an average price of $249. Superb! Easy to purchase a ticket. I had a live customer service chat once, the staff member was so polite, helpful and informative. I loved the communication after purchase. On the match day they contacted me on WhatsApp if I want an upgrade on my tickets for free and after my confirmation I got my tickets within a minute. Great experience, thank you.

This is the best and most trusted website to get your tickets to any world event. I have used them 3 times throughout the years, I have used other sites for football matches and they are so transparent and fast, the first time I used them was in 2018 for a Roma match and then made the mistake to use a different site for the PSG match in April and they were terrible, from the website, customer service and responses. this is the only site I trust and use!

Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email. No problems getting into the stadium and seats were great. Unfortunately my team’s performance was the only let down. Would definitely use this company again.

It was easier than I thought to find a group of seven seats together and very simple to book. Communication was excellent, the tickets were sent quickly and were easy to access, so no problems at the stadium. Seats were good and we had a great view. Stadium Information

Name:

Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Capacity:

54,726

Address:

Piazzale Vincenzo Tecchio 4, 80125 Naples, Italy

Club:

SSC Napoli

Description:

The Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, located in the Fuorigrotta district west of Naples, has been the home of SSC Napoli since 1959. It holds 54,726 spectators, making it the fourth-largest stadium in Italy, behind the San Siro, the Stadio Olimpico and the San Nicola. Not only its size, also the steep, enclosed stands, which amplify the noise from the Curva B and Curva A, make the Stadio Maradona one of the loudest stadiums in Europe. Originally opened as the Stadio San Paolo, it took its current name in 2020 after the death of Diego Maradona, who led Napoli to its greatest successes in the 1980s. You will feel the weight of this history as soon as you climb into the stands for the first time. It is a stadium that is hard to fully take in on a first visit.

The stadium opened in 1959 and has been renovated several times, most recently for the 1990 World Cup, where it hosted a semi-final among other matches. Also the 2018 to 2019 renovation, which saw the removal of a third tier and the roof, changed the stadium's character considerably and reduced its capacity from more than 60,000 to its current 54,726 seats. Not only the architecture, also its position at the foot of the Fuorigrotta hills, with a view of the Bay of Naples in the distance, makes this stadium one of the most striking in Italy. Also for first-time visitors from abroad, the walk to the stadium through the narrow streets of Fuorigrotta is an experience in itself.

Best Ways to Reach the Stadio Maradona

Once your SSC Napoli tickets are booked, it is time to work out how to get to the stadium. The city of Naples recommends public transport on matchdays, not least because parking around Fuorigrotta is limited. Not only by metro, also by bus and train you can reach the Stadio Maradona without any trouble. It can be a bit of stressful to plan the route the first time, but once you have done it, you will get used to it quickly. Here are your options:

By Train

Naples is served by two major long-distance stations, Napoli Centrale and Napoli Campi Flegrei, both well connected to the rest of Italy. High-speed Frecciarossa and Italo trains bring you in from Rome in a little over an hour, with international connections arriving via Rome from across Europe. From Napoli Centrale, take metro line 2 directly to Campi Flegrei station, from where the stadium is a short walk away. Also from Capodichino Airport, the Alibus gets you to the city centre in about 30 minutes, from where connections to the stadium continue. Not only the metro, also the Cumana regional train stops a few minutes' walk from the stadium.

By Bus

From the city centre, several ANM bus lines serve the Fuorigrotta area, with stops a few minutes' walk from the main entrances. Extra services run on matchdays, both towards the stadium before kick-off and back towards the centre after the final whistle. The ride from central Naples takes between 25 and 35 minutes depending on traffic. During the bigger Serie A matches, when the stadium is close to full, the return buses tend to get very crowded right after the final whistle, so it helps to build in a little extra time for that.

By Bicycle

Naples is a hilly city, and the ride from the centre to the Stadio Maradona along the coastal Via Caracciolo and then towards Fuorigrotta takes between 35 and 45 minutes. You will find bike racks near the stadium.

By Car

Naples is well connected via the A1, A3 and A56 motorways (Tangenziale di Napoli), all linked to the streets around Fuorigrotta. From the city centre, the stadium is about 6 kilometres away via the Tangenziale, a trip of roughly 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour. Those coming from Rome or Salerno take the A1 straight towards the Tangenziale and follow signs for the Stadio Maradona. Paid parking can be found in the areas near the stadium, and on matchdays stewards help direct traffic close to the ground. After the final whistle, leaving the area can be a bit of stressful. Not only around the stadium itself, also on the Tangenziale, traffic can stay heavy for a while after a big match. Those who arrive early tend to get the best parking spots and an easier exit once the game is over.

The Stands of the Stadio Maradona

The Stadio Maradona is divided into four main areas: the Curva A, the Curva B, the Tribuna Posillipo and the Tribuna Nisida. Each area has its own character, and which one serves as home or away can vary depending on the opponent. You will never feel like you are watching the match from far away, whichever level you are on, since the stadium's steep build keeps even the highest seats close to the action. This is also part of what makes a matchday at the Stadio Maradona so special. Not only the home end, also the away section sits close enough to feel part of the match.

Curva B

The Curva B is Napoli's own end, the area where the club's most passionate supporters gather behind the goal for the full 90 minutes. You will find the best atmosphere in the stadium right here, with a constant wall of noise, flags and choreography whenever Napoli play at home. It can be a bit of stressful for someone who has never experienced a curva before, all that noise so close by, but if you want to feel what Napoli truly means to this city, you will have a very special experience in the Curva B.

Curva A

On the opposite side of the pitch sits the Curva A, reserved for away supporters when Napoli play at home. Away fans travelling to the Stadio Maradona for a Napoli match are placed here, generally in the upper blocks. The view from up there is high but complete, and you will see the whole pitch spread out below you. Not only the distance, also the angle from this stand is a little sharper than from the side stands, so it helps to bring good binoculars if you want to follow every detail.

Tribuna Posillipo

The Tribuna Posillipo, named after the hill west of the city, runs along one side of the pitch and includes the players' tunnel and technical areas. From here you get a side-on but clear view of the whole pitch, and this is where most of the hospitality areas and premium seats are located. Tickets here are usually the most expensive in the stadium.

Tribuna Nisida

Directly opposite the Tribuna Posillipo sits the Tribuna Nisida, named after the small island off the coast of Naples, and a popular choice for families and first-time visitors. From here you get a very good view of everything happening on the pitch, spread across the same tiers as the Posillipo side. Tickets in the Tribuna Nisida are a little more affordable than on the Posillipo side, while the view is almost identical. Not only the sightline from the lower tier is very good, also the upper tier gives you a complete overview of the tactical picture. Also for a group visiting Naples for the first time, this stand is usually a comfortable and relaxed choice.

Which Stand Should You Choose?

We have created this table so you can compare the four sections of the Stadio Maradona at a glance. Check what matters most to you, and you will find the right section.

Priority Best Stand Why
Best atmosphere Curva B Napoli's ultras, flags and drums, loudest part of the stadium for 90 minutes
Best view Tribuna Posillipo Centrale Side-on views, closest to the technical areas and players' tunnel
First-time visitor Tribuna Nisida Wide choice of seats, good overall view, easy access via metro line 2
Families with children Tribuna Nisida, lower tier Calmer than the Curva B, comfortable seats, clear sightlines
Small budget Curva B, upper tier More affordable than the main stands, still a full view of the pitch
Singing and standing Curva B Expect to stand, sing and follow the ultras for the full 90 minutes
Away supporters Curva A (upper tier) Blocks towards the back of the stand, separate entrance, full view of the pitch
Premium comfort Tribuna Posillipo hospitality Hospitality areas, padded seats, best stadium service

About SSC Napoli

Current head coach:

Massimiliano Allegri

Current captain:

Matteo Politano

Last season's finish:

2nd place, Serie A 2025-26

Club History

SSC Napoli was founded on 25 August 1926, after the dissolution of the previous club, Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club, set up in 1904 by British immigrants. Not only the British roots, also the azzurro sky-blue colour that still defines the club shirt today, trace back to this founding period. It took decades before the club could celebrate its first Scudetto, but when it came, in 1986-87, under Diego Maradona, that title changed the city forever. Also this piece of football history is something few other clubs in the world can claim, however hard some have tried.

SSC Napoli have won 3 Scudetti, in 1986-87, 1989-90 and 2022-23, along with 6 Coppa Italia titles and the 1988-89 UEFA Cup, all achieved with Diego Maradona as the central figure of the club's golden era. The 2022-23 title, under head coach Luciano Spalletti, with forward Victor Osimhen and playmaker Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, ended a 33-year wait for the championship and is still celebrated in Naples today as a second carnival. Legendary players have worn the azzurro shirt across the decades: Diego Maradona in the 1980s, Marek Hamšík as the club's top scorer and most capped player, and more recently Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens, both at the club for more than a decade.

The 2025-26 season was one of the strongest in recent years. Head coach Antonio Conte led Napoli to a 2nd-place finish with 76 points, eleven behind champions Inter Milan, as well as winning the 2026 Supercoppa Italiana against Bologna, 2-0 at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh. In the Coppa Italia, Napoli were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Como on penalties. Conte left the club by mutual consent at the end of the season, and since 3 July 2026 Massimiliano Allegri has taken charge of the bench, only weeks after being sacked by AC Milan. This is a club that, despite missing out on the title, gave its supporters one extra trophy with the Supercoppa. It can be a bit of stressful to see a successful coach leave, but the 2026-2027 campaign under Massimiliano Allegri is starting with real ambition.

SSC Napoli and the City of Naples

Naples is the third-largest city in Italy and the cultural and economic centre of the south of the country, a city of nearly one million people where football is much more than a sport. SSC Napoli is the only major club in the city and therefore carries the expectations of an entire region, from Campania down to the far south of Italy. Also beyond Naples itself, the club is widely seen as a symbol of the south against the established clubs of the north.

Naples is also a city of deep footballing tradition beyond SSC Napoli itself, and the Stadio Maradona hosted several matches at the 1990 World Cup, including a semi-final. On matchdays, the streets around Fuorigrotta fill with supporters in azzurro, and the walk to the stadium has become part of the ritual for generations of Neapolitan supporters. Also the bars around Piazzale Tecchio fill up quickly before kick-off, so if you want a table, it helps to arrive a little early.

Famous Players

SSC Napoli have developed or hosted some of the greatest names in football history. Diego Maradona led the club to two Scudetti and the UEFA Cup between 1984 and 1991, and is still regarded as the greatest player ever to wear the Napoli shirt. Marek Hamšík long held the club record for appearances and goals, before leaving after more than a decade. Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens defined the 2010s, before Victor Osimhen and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia claimed the 2022-23 Scudetto. Today, Matteo Politano wears the captain's armband under Massimiliano Allegri. Not only the forwards, also Napoli's midfielders have their own long list of legends, which is part of why this shirt still means so much. Also Napoli's defenders, from the Maradona era to today, have their own share in the club's history.

SSC Napoli Honours and Titles

SSC Napoli have won 3 Scudetti and 6 Coppa Italia titles, along with the 1988-89 UEFA Cup and now 3 Supercoppa Italiana, the latest in 2026 against Bologna. Also this is an achievement supporters can be very proud of. Not only domestically, also internationally, Napoli are one of the few southern Italian clubs to hold a genuine European title. That is an enormous trophy haul for a city that had to wait decades for its first major success. Affordable and premium tickets for SSC Napoli in Serie A and the Champions League are available now on Livefootballtickets.com.

Serie A titles:

3 (1986-87, 1989-90, 2022-23)

Coppa Italia wins:

6

UEFA Cups:

1 (1988-89)

Notable record:

Only club from southern Italy to have won the Scudetto, and done so three times

SSC Napoli Rivalries

Main Rivalry

The Rivalry with Juventus

The biggest rivalry in Napoli's world is the one with Juventus. The historic tension between the industrial north and the south of Italy has shaped this fixture for decades and reaches far beyond football. Not only on the pitch, also off it, this rivalry has been played out for decades with particular intensity. Also outside Naples, this match is followed closely across Italy. It can be a bit of stressful to fully understand this rivalry as an outsider, given how deep the emotions run on both sides.

The two meetings of the 2025-26 season were split down the middle: Napoli won 2-1 at home, at the Stadio Maradona, thanks to a brace from Rasmus Højlund on 7 December 2025, before Juventus responded with a 3-0 win at the Allianz Stadium on 25 January 2026, with goals from Jonathan David, Kenan Yıldız and Filip Kostić. Two shared results in the same season, and Napoli still finished the campaign as runners-up, ahead of Juventus in the table. Not only the final league standing, also the way these two matches played out, a comeback win for Napoli and a clear response from Juventus, shows how evenly balanced this rivalry remained in 2025-26 as well. You will hear supporters from both sides debate these two matches for years.

Other Rivalries

Rivalry with AS Roma

The rivalry between SSC Napoli and AS Roma has intensified in recent years, with both clubs regularly competing for the same places at the top of the table and Champions League qualification. In the 2025-26 season, both clubs secured a European spot, Napoli as runners-up and Roma in 3rd place. Also beyond the table, both clubs rank among the biggest and most passionate fanbases in Italy, and their meetings regularly draw large television audiences. Not only in Italy, also abroad, millions of neutral fans follow this clash between two of the loudest stadiums in Serie A.

Rivalry with AC Milan

The relationship between SSC Napoli and AC Milan took on a new dimension after the 2025-26 season, with Massimiliano Allegri leaving Milan after a 5th-place finish to take charge of Napoli only weeks later. Also the shared history between the two clubs, with several direct meetings in title races going back to the Maradona era, gives this fixture extra weight for the 2026-2027 season. Not only the coaching change itself, also the mutual attention on how both clubs develop under these new circumstances makes this clash particularly interesting in the years ahead.

Frequently Asked Questions about SSC Napoli Tickets

Frequently Asked Questions about SSC Napoli Tickets

Tickets for SSC Napoli away matches are a bit harder to find than home tickets. This is because every Serie A stadium sets aside far more space for home supporters than for Napoli fans. We have managed to get SSC Napoli tickets for almost every Serie A match. Select the away match you want to see, then check our ticket offer. All our away tickets carry a label. The most common labels for Napoli away matches are: Napoli section, away section, Azzurri fan section and away end. When the section label does not look like these, the tickets are for the home team. Not only the label, also the seating plan next to it will show you exactly where you will be in the stadium. It can be a bit of stressful to figure this out on your own, so ask our support team if in doubt.
