Stade Marie-Marvingt
Capacity:
25,064
Address:
Circuit de la Sarthe, 72100 Le Mans, France
Description:
The Stade Marie-Marvingt is the home of Le Mans FC and holds 25,064. It opened in 2011, was first known as the MMArena, and replaced the club's old ground, the Stade Léon Bollée. It is named after Marie Marvingt, the French aviator, athlete and journalist, and sits inside the Circuit de la Sarthe, the racetrack that hosts the 24 Hours of Le Mans every June, which makes it one of the most unusual settings in French football. The pitch is natural grass. A lucky few of those supporters can book their Le Mans FC tickets through our secure booking system.
Best way to travel to the Stade Marie-Marvingt
When you've booked your Le Mans FC tickets it's time to find out how you can get to the stadium. The Stade Marie-Marvingt sits to the south of Le Mans, by the racing circuit, and is well served by the city's SETRAM tram and bus network on a matchday. These are the options you can use to get to the stadium.
By Train
Le Mans is a major rail hub. There are fast TGV trains from Paris Montparnasse to the Gare du Mans in around an hour. From the station the SETRAM tramway takes you across the city towards the ground.
By Tram and Bus
The SETRAM network runs the city's trams and buses. The tramway serves the Antarès MMArena area beside the stadium, with services reinforced before and after matches to bring supporters close to the ground.
By Car
The stadium is south of the city, reached from the A11 and A28 motorways, and sits beside the Circuit de la Sarthe with parking around the racetrack and the Antarès arena. Spaces fill up on a matchday, so it is best to arrive early or use the tram.
By Bicycle
Le Mans is an easy city to cycle around, with routes towards the stadium and somewhere to leave your bike near the ground. On a dry day it is a quick and pleasant way in.
Stade Marie-Marvingt guide
The Stade Marie-Marvingt has four stands set close to the pitch. Below is a guide to each part of the ground. Whichever match you are attending, we've got you covered with tickets for every Le Mans FC game.
Main stand
The main stand, on one side of the pitch, holds the premium seats and the hospitality areas and gives a clear view across the whole ground. It is the most comfortable place to sit.
The opposite side
The stand on the far side of the pitch is the other long stand. It offers a good side on view along the length of the ground and is usually a more affordable seat than the main stand.
Behind the goals
The stands behind the goals are home to Le Mans's most vocal supporters, where most of the noise comes from on a matchday. Head here for the liveliest atmosphere and to be among the home crowd.
Visitors' section
Travelling fans are given a designated section of the ground. If you're following your team to Le Mans, this is the area to look for, so make sure you pick the "away end" or away section when you book your tickets.
Which stand should you choose?
It's important to be able to make the best decision when booking your Le Mans FC tickets. That's why we've created this table with a quick comparison of the different areas of the ground. Check what's important to you and you will find the best stand for your wishes.

Other information
Le Mans Football Club, known as Le Mans FC, was founded in 1985 from a merger as Le Mans Union Club 72, or MUC 72, and took its current name in 2010. The club is based in Le Mans, in the Sarthe in the Pays de la Loire region of western France, plays in red and gold and is nicknamed Les Sang et Or, the Blood and Golds. The club is chaired by Thierry Gomez, who took over in 2016, and now has outside investment behind it, with the tennis champion Novak Djokovic among its part owners.
The long road back
Le Mans were a Ligue 1 club for much of the 2000s, the period when Didier Drogba began his professional career at the club, before relegation in 2010 and a slide that took them all the way down to the fifth tier. Rebuilt under Thierry Gomez, the club climbed back up division by division, returning to Ligue 2 in 2025 and then winning promotion to Ligue 1 as runners up, completing one of the great recoveries in recent French football.
