Signing the likes of club-record signing Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, along with World Cup star Ayyoub Bouaddi, means their squad now has some exciting new faces to go alongside the experience of Erling Haaland and Phil Foden. However, the loss of Bernardo Silva to Real Madrid and World Cup winner Rodri to Barcelona will no doubt be a huge loss to Enzo Maresca’s side, who seem to have lost a lot of Premier League experience from their midfield. City ended last season with the FA Cup and EFL Cup in the bag but had to settle for the runners-up spot in the Premier League behind Arsenal.
