Arsenal v Leeds United tickets | Emirates Stadium
Arsenal versus Leeds United is one of English football’s oldest and most storied fixtures.
Arsenal will host Leeds United at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, October 10, 2026 and it’s set to be a really interesting game. Both sides have started the season well and both sit towards the top of the table. Arsenal will have been disappointed to lose 3-0 to Brighton early on in the season and ultimately lose ground on Manchester City, so Mikel Arteta’s side will be raring to make an impression on their return from the international break. This means Daniel Farke’s side will have their work cut out to contain this Arsenal side with a point to prove.
Match Details
Arsenal v Leeds will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Emirates Stadium. The kick-off time will be 12.30pm.
Emirates Stadium
Emirates Stadium has been Arsenal’s home ground since 2006, when they moved from Highbury after 93 years and countless successes at the stadium. Based in North London, Emirates Stadium is one of the Premier League’s largest and most impressive grounds, holding 60,704 fans at full capacity. Surrounded by statues of Arsenal legends like Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Tony Adams, along with the relocated Highbury clock, you can really feel the history of the club. If you’re travelling to the stadium from London, it’s incredibly easy to get to via public transport. The best option is probably to get the Picadilly line to Arsenal tube station, which is then just a very short walk from the stadium. However, on matchdays, Arsenal tube station can get quite busy, so if you’d prefer to avoid the rush of supporters, you could opt to get the Picadilly or Victoria line to Finsbury Park tube station, and take a 20 minute walk from there.
Head-to-Head Record
This is undoubtedly a huge game in English football, between two of the country’s most historic sides. In terms of Premier League meetings, Arsenal easily have been more successful, with the Gunners winning roughly double the amount than Leeds. In terms of recent history, Arsenal have naturally dominated result as well. Arsenal have been one of the best teams in the league in recent years, while Leeds have looked to find steady ground since their promotion from the Championship. This season, however, Leeds will be hoping their strengthened squad under Daniel Farke can finally close that gap when the two sides meet again.
Last Meeting: Arsenal 5-0 Leeds United (August 23, 2025)
The last meeting between Arsenal and Leeds was in August 2025 and it proved to be a difficult day for Daniel Farke’s newly promoted side. The Gunners ran out 5-0 winners on the day with goals from Jurrien Timber, Bukayo Saka, and Viktor Gyökeres on his home debut. Leeds will be hoping the result is a little bit closer this time round, and having improved their squad over the summer, they have continued their fine form from the end of last campaign, so should be able to put up much more of a fight against an Arsenal side licking their wounds after a chastening defeat to Brighton.
Arsenal 2026-2027 Season
Arsenal head into the 2026-2027 campaign as reigning Premier League champions. With Mikel Arteta at the helm, the Gunners ended their 22 year wait for the Premier League title. Despite being the best team in the league last season, Arsenal have once again spent big in the summer transfer window, securing the likes of Ezri Konsa and Bruno Guimarães from Aston Villa and Newcastle United respectively. Adding this level of quality to a side that won the Premier League and reached the Champions League final last season means they will have to be considered favourites for the Premier League title again. As a result, it’s up to Mikel Arteta and his side to prove they are able to sustain this level of success for years to come.
Leeds 2026-2027 Season
Leeds head into the 2026-2027 season off the back of some really strong form towards the end of last campaign. They have once again strengthened over the summer with the likes of Harry Wilson and James Trafford coming in. Harry Wilson had the best season of career at Fulham last season, while James Trafford spent the year at Manchester City as number two to Gianluigi Donnarumma. Although he struggled for game time, the English keeper is still considered one of the best young goalkeepers in the country and he has brought a calming presence to Leeds in between the sticks. On top of these fantastic signings, Leeds also have one the most in-form strikers in the country in Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The former Everton forward has got off to a flyer this season and has even earned a recall to the England squad for their upcoming Nations League fixtures.
