VVV Venlo (Venlose Voetbal Vereniging Venlo) is a football club from Venlo in the Netherlands, currently playing in the Eredivisie. The club plays its home games in the De Koel stadium. VVV Venlo returned to the Eredivisie, the highest league in the Netherlands, by defeating RKC Waalwijk in the promotion/relegation play-offs of the season 2006-2007. After one season in the Eredivisie VVV Venlo relegated back to the Eerste Divisie. After a single season, VVV Venlo won the Eerste Divisie 2008-09 title and returned to the Eredivisie. After bouncing back and forwards for awhile, they managed to secure promoting to the Eredivisie again after winning the Jupiler League in 2016-2017, they retained their Eredivisie status in their first season in the Dutch top tier.
