Chelsea Fixtures August 2026

23 July 2026 at 13:59

Chelsea's August 2026 is the most well-travelled month any Premier League side will have. Four fixtures across Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia inside nine days, then home to Stamford Bridge for a friendly before the Premier League season opens with a Monday night derby at Craven Cottage.

Here is the whole month, fixture by fixture. Everything listed is covered on our Chelsea tickets page.

Chelsea fixtures in August 2026

Date Fixture Kick-off (local) Competition Venue
Sat 1 Aug Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur 19:45 (10:45 BST) Sydney Super Cup Accor Stadium, Sydney
Wed 5 Aug Chelsea v Juventus 19:30 (12:30 BST) Friendly Kai Tak Sports Park, Hong Kong
Sat 8 Aug Chelsea v AC Milan 19:00 (13:00 BST) Friendly Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta
Sun 9 Aug Johor Darul Ta'zim v Chelsea 20:00 (13:00 BST) Friendly Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Johor
Sat 15 Aug Chelsea v Real Sociedad 14:00 Friendly Stamford Bridge
Mon 24 Aug Fulham v Chelsea 20:00 Premier League Craven Cottage
Sun 30 Aug Chelsea v Brighton & Hove Albion 14:00 Premier League Stamford Bridge

Times are local to each venue, with the UK equivalent in brackets for the tour fixtures. Kick-offs can still move, particularly the two league matches, where broadcast scheduling has the final say.

The Asia-Pacific tour

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur — 1 August, Sydney

A London derby, 10,500 miles from London. The Sydney Super Cup takes Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to Accor Stadium, the 83,500-capacity ground built for the 2000 Olympics — comfortably the largest venue Chelsea will play in all month.

The stadium sits in Sydney Olympic Park, around twenty-five minutes from Central Station on the T7 line. For Australian supporters this is the closest they will come to a genuine Premier League derby atmosphere; for anyone travelling from the UK, it is a serious trip for a pre-season friendly.

Chelsea v Juventus — 5 August, Hong Kong

The tour moves north to Kai Tak Sports Park, the stadium built on the site of Hong Kong's old airport and now the city's flagship venue. A Wednesday evening meeting with Juventus is the pick of the tour on paper.

Kai Tak is served directly by the MTR Tuen Ma line, roughly fifteen minutes from Kowloon. Availability is listed on our Chelsea v Juventus page.

Chelsea v AC Milan — 8 August, Jakarta

Three days later Chelsea face AC Milan at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, one of the largest and loudest grounds in Southeast Asia. Indonesian crowds have a reputation for turning friendlies into occasions, and a Saturday evening kick-off in Jakarta should be no exception.

Johor Darul Ta'zim v Chelsea — 9 August, Johor

The only back-to-back of the tour: less than 24 hours after Jakarta, Chelsea are in Malaysia to face Johor Darul Ta'zim at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium. Expect wholesale changes and a good look at the younger players in the squad. Johor Bahru sits on the Singapore border, making this the most accessible tour fixture for anyone already in the region.

Back at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea v Real Sociedad — 15 August, Stamford Bridge

The homecoming. A Saturday afternoon friendly against Real Sociedad is the last outing before the league begins, and it is one of the more realistic ways into Stamford Bridge all season — friendlies typically see wider availability than league matches, when members and season-ticket holders account for most of the 40,341 seats.

If you have never been to the Bridge, this is a sensible first visit: Fulham Broadway on the District line drops you a few minutes from the turnstiles, and the pressure of a league Saturday is absent.

Premier League: the opening two fixtures

Fulham v Chelsea — 24 August, Craven Cottage

The season opens with the West London derby under the Monday night lights. Craven Cottage is the most characterful ground in the division — the Cottage itself, the riverside walk along the Thames, and a capacity small enough that the away end is genuinely close to the action.

Putney Bridge on the District line is the usual approach, about a fifteen-minute walk through Bishops Park. Away allocations at Fulham are among the tightest in the league given the size of the ground, so this is one to sort early — current listings are on our Fulham v Chelsea page.

Chelsea v Brighton & Hove Albion — 30 August, Stamford Bridge

The first home league fixture of the season lands on Sunday 30 August at 14:00 against Brighton & Hove Albion. Brighton have been an awkward opponent for Chelsea in recent seasons, and a Sunday afternoon at the Bridge with a new season still unwritten is one of the better atmospheres of the early calendar.

Seats for the home opener are on our Chelsea v Brighton & Hove Albion page.

Planning your trip

  • The tour is four countries in nine days. Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia each have their own entry requirements — check visas and passport validity well ahead.
  • Watch the time difference. UK supporters watching from home should note the tour kick-offs land between mid-morning and early afternoon British time.
  • Friendlies move. Pre-season fixtures are the likeliest on the calendar to shift in date, time or venue. Confirm before booking non-refundable travel.
  • League dates can move too. Both Premier League fixtures are subject to television rescheduling, usually confirmed several weeks ahead.
  • Away allocations are limited. For Craven Cottage, always select the away section when booking.

Chelsea tickets

Tickets for Chelsea's August 2026 programme — the pre-season friendlies and both Premier League openers — are listed on LiveFootballTickets, alongside every other fixture in London this season. Stamford Bridge availability is at its widest for the Real Sociedad friendly and tightens sharply once the league begins.

Every order is covered by our 150% money-back guarantee. If this is your first booking with us, our how it works page walks through the process from checkout to ticket delivery.

The experience was fabulous! I must say that everything was fully professional. From ordering my ticket, and getting two confirmation emails. Then close to the event an email indicating that the seller was trying to get in touch with me. Once I gained contact with him I soon received the ticket. Yes, I was nervous going through the gate at the stadium but I think this was due to my first experience with livefootballtickets. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

The organisation, delivery and ease of the process was great. The seats we chose (in the San Siro) were outstanding and the game itself was a one-off, in terms of twists and turns.
