Manchester United host title holders Bayern Munich tonight for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

The Red Devils have struggled in the Premier League this season under David Moyes management but they are still alive in the most prestigious club tournament of the world.

First step towards that goal must be done tonight at Old Trafford as they face the most in-form side in actual football.

Bayern Munich have already won the Bundesliga this season setting up a new record as they clinched the title last week with 7 games to spare.

But Pep Guardiola’s men will now focus on a record nobody has ever accomplished yet: retaining the UEFA Champions League trophy.

United come from a comfortable 4-1 home victory against Aston Villa over the weekend but they know Bayern Munich will be a much more dangerous opposition.

Bayern were held by Hoffenheim 3-3 at the Allianz Arena last Saturday in a match they were leading 3-1 but the hang-over from celebrations must have played its part.
