Tickets on Sale for the World Cup Final Showdown
Wednesday, 7 July, 2010: Come Sunday, football fans from any corner of the globe will be glued to their TV sets watching the World Cup Final showdown between the Netherlands and Spain. And, those who would gain an entry in the Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg to watch the 2010 World Cup final by virtue of having bought their tickets early will forever be considered privileged.
The Netherlands team saw the better of Uruguay yesterday in their semi-final playoff. They came out as a better team winning the match 3-2. It will be the third outing in the World Cup Final for a Dutch team, having played there in 1974 and '78 before.
The Spaniards on the other hand is a seasoned World Cup Final campaigner. This will be their thirteenth such outing, though, they are waiting to win their maiden title. In the semi-final Spain managed to win their match against a very strong German team by one goal. In that respect, they are better prepared than their opposition to handle the stress of playing the final of the FIFA World Cup.
