2022 World Cup Group E preview

It’s time for another World Cup preview. This time we talk about group E. This is a group with 2 possible competitors for England in the battle for the England World Cup tickets securely online via our online football tickets marketplace. England fans will be watching Group E with a lot of attention. In this article we talk about the four teams in Group E.

Germany

Germany is always one of the favourites to win the World Cup this year. The team has a good mix of experienced players, mid 20’s and young talents. With a manager like Hansi Flick, they should be able to get far in this tournament. With 4 World Cups already, Germany is only 1 World Cup away from record holders Brazil. We don’t see much problem for Germany in this group.

Spain

Spain is the other big side in this Group E. This makes Group E the hardest group. There is no other group with 2 serious contenders for the title. Spain has a very good bunch of new talented players. Especially at Barca there are some great talents. This World Cup is the perfect opportunity for them to show the whole World how good they are. We expect Spain to fight with Germany for the first place in this group.

Japan

Japan is never a team that goes far in the tournament, but they are always capable of doing something. Former Liverpool player Takumi Minamino is one of the best players in this current Japan squad. With teams like Germanny and Spain in this group, it will be very hard for Japan to qualify for the next round.

Costa Rica

What goes for Japan, goes the same for Costa Rica. They are drawn into the toughest group to get out. It’s very unlikely that Costa Rica is able to finish above Germany or Spain. Keylor Navas is the biggest name in this Costa Rica team.
