England’s road to the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final

England’s womens team is preparing for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final against Germany. The German team managed to beat France with 2-1 in the semi-final. Group Stage

The friendlies England played over the last couple of months already increased the confidence in the country. The football was looking really impressive ever since Sarina Wiegman managed the team. The start of this group stage may have caused some doubts, when England only managed to beat Austria with 1-0. All doubts were gone after the second group stage match, which was won with 8-0 against Norway. With qualification secured, they went on to beat Northern Ireland with 5-0 in the final group stage match. With 14 goals scored and 0 conceded, England’s group stage was a massive success.

Knockout stages

In the quarter final England faced the number 2 of Group B. Spain was the team to beat in the quarter final. It was also the first team to score against England during this tournament. For a long time the Spain goal looked to be decisive. Fortunately for England it was Ella Toone who levelled the score minutes for the end of the match. Gergia Stanway decided the match with a goal early in extra time, bringing England into the semi-finals. The semi-finals are another example of complete humiliation of the opponent. England faced Sweden and destroyed them with a 4-0 victory. The Lionesses will go to the final full of confidence they can get the trophy.

    The tickets were significantly above face value (€20), but you accept this when you purchase them. Originally bought for one side of the stadium, but was emailed 48 hours before the match to say the tickets were no longer available BUT instead we had been moved to another side of the stadium (we were actually upgraded from the North side to the South side - the Yellow Wall). Tickets emailed 24 hours before the match and no trouble entering the stadium. No need to print tickets and worked fine as a pdf. Some trepidation as to whether we would successfully gain entry but no problems experienced. Would recommend this service if you are prepared to pay the inflated price of the tickets to see Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park!

    10/10. Seemed sketchy at first but over all a great company. Customer Service answered all of my questions and the seller sent me mobile tickets a day earlier than scheduled.     Got tickets for PSG - Liverpool game. Got second last row at Parc des Princes, but the stadium is fantastic so the view was great. Not blocked, can see everything perfectly, kinda like tactical camera. The delivery was simple, just an email the night before or the morning (dont remember), but definitely no stress. Also the ticket had my name on it, as PSG fans said it was quite important to have my name on a ticket for this stadium, so that was an extra plus. Overall it was great. Match was fantastic! Lifetime memory! And the service was good
