My wife and I were in London for a short vacation and have always wanted to attend a Premier League Football match. The experience at Tottenham Stadium was amazing and something that was very much enjoyed. We have two daughters that played Division I soccer in college here in the United States, with one of the daughters playing on a youth National Team with travel to various parts of the world. So, this experience was something that we wanted to have as soccer parents. The chants, the singing, and the entire experience was fabulous. The process in getting the tickets was simple and we have no complaints. The follow-up communication was helpful and made everything very simple.

Wow first time buying tickets like this and in the end, we weren't disappointed. Communication was excellent throughout even when I started to wobble a couple of days before when our Man City tickets still hadn't been delivered to my phone. I was assured that they were guaranteed and then 24 hours before the game, a WhatsApp message confirming they had been emailed came through together with download instructions. At the ground, the tickets scanned in no problem and we had been allocated amazing seats 10 rows from the pitch just level with the penalty area. My daughter was beside herself with joy. Won 3-0 as well. I would definitely use them again, just be prepared to wait till the day before when they come through to you by email. Great service and highly recommended

Mexico vs South Korea World Cup 2026 Tickets | Live Football Tickets

Mexico head into their second World Cup fixture with a tricky test against South Korea on 19 June, played at Estadio Akron in Guadalajara. With a 2am UK kick-off, it's one for the night owls, but the match itself carries real importance for both sides as they look to build momentum early in the tournament. Mexico will hope to make the most of familiar surroundings and strong local support, especially if they've taken something from their opening game. South Korea, meanwhile, will arrive with a reputation for discipline and the ability to unsettle bigger sides when given space to break.

Estadio Akron's lively atmosphere should add plenty of energy to the match, and the heat and altitude could also impact the tempo at which the game is played. With both teams likely to see this as a key opportunity to strengthen their position in the group, it has all the makings of a tense game.

How to Buy Tickets for Mexico vs South Korea

Demand for World Cup fixtures will be high, and tickets are expected to move quickly once allocations open. In fact, our customer service team regularly hear from fans who want to know: How can I book World Cup tickets? And it can be tricky. 6. Don't forget to check that all your information has been input and is correct.
  7. Click 'Make Payment'.
  8. The tickets are now yours!

Ticket prices tend to vary depending on the seat category and match type, so do bear that in mind when selecting matches. Some games, mainly knockout matches or popular teams, can sell out incredibly quickly, so make sure you book early and are on high alert for when tickets come on sale!

Mexico vs South Korea Preview & Predictions

Mexico will head into this second group match knowing that momentum is everything at this stage of a tournament. Their recent form has been steady rather than spectacular, but they remain difficult to beat and usually find a way to create chances through their wide players. South Korea, meanwhile, arrive with a reputation for quick counter-attacking football and a disciplined defensive structure, traits that have served them well in recent years. Historically, meetings between the two sides have been competitive, with neither team consistently on top, and that balance is likely to continue into this fixture.

Tactically, Mexico will look to dominate the ball and work openings through patient build-up, while South Korea will be happy to sit compact, break quickly and exploit any space left behind the full-backs. With home support and slightly more attacking depth, Mexico may just edge it, but it's unlikely to be comfortable.

Key Players to Watch

Mexico will look to their big names to make an impression, with Hirving Lozano offering the pace and direct running that so often sparks their most dangerous attacking moments. His ability to drift inside and take on defenders could be crucial against a South Korean side that defends well in numbers. Edson Álvarez is just as important, anchoring the midfield with his reading of the game, composure and ability to break up play, while Santiago Giménez provides a sharp focal point up front and arrives in strong form. For South Korea, Son Heung-min remains their standout threat, capable of turning a game with a single moment of quality. Lee Kang-in brings creativity and clever movement between the lines, while Kim Min-jae provides the side with authority and leadership at the back. With so much talent on the pitch, one moment could swing it either way.

Estadio Akron – Match Venue

Estadio Akron is one of Mexico's most modern football stadiums, known for its sleek design and passionate home crowd. Located in Guadalajara, the stadium has become a key venue in Mexican football, hosting major domestic and international matches since its opening in 2010. Though it doesn't yet share the decades of history seen at Estadio Azteca, it has built a reputation for its intense and energetic atmosphere, with the bowl-shaped design trapping sound, meaning chants and cheers feel more thunderous, even with a mid-sized crowd. The stadium itself is visually striking — its sleek architecture and volcano roof give it a futuristic feel that is unlike any other stadium across the world.

Akron's fan culture is deeply rooted in Mexican identity, and whether it's a Chivas game or the Mexico national team, the support is unwavering and fiercely passionate. Before games of this stature, fans tend to arrive at the ground early to soak up the atmosphere. If you're heading to Estadio Akron for a match, expect sensory overload — upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a sea of flags, flares (where permitted), and colour, along with deafening drums, horns, and chants.

How to Get to Estadio Akron for This Match

To reach Estadio Akron, rideshare is the most convenient option, especially as the stadium is located on the outskirts of Zapopan. From central Guadalajara, the journey takes around 30–40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. There is no direct metro or light rail connection to the stadium, so walking from the city centre isn't practical due to the distance, which is over 15 km.

Because of this, rideshare or official shuttle services are considered the best option for most fans. You should also allow extra time for security checks and crowds on matchday to ensure you don't miss a minute of World Cup action.

Estadio Akron Fan Guide for Match Day

Estadio Akron sits in Zapopan, a modern suburb of Guadalajara that really comes alive on match days. With thousands of fans heading to the ground, the area around the stadium fills up early, making it a great place to soak up the atmosphere before kick-off. If you arrive with time to spare, the nearby Andares shopping district is a popular pre-match spot, offering everything from quick bites to sit-down meals, plus plenty of bars where supporters gather. The surrounding streets also have a mix of local restaurants and cafés that stay busy throughout major tournaments. If you're making a full day of it, the region's famous tequila distilleries are only a short trip away and offer tours earlier in the day. Zapopan is partially walkable, but on match days, taxis and rideshares like Uber or Didi are by far the easiest way to move between fan zones, food spots and the stadium.

Head-to-Head History: Mexico vs South Korea

Mexico and South Korea have crossed paths plenty of times over the years, forging a low-key but genuinely interesting international rivalry. Mexico have generally had the better of the results, yet South Korea have always been awkward opponents, capable of disrupting Mexico's rhythm. Their most memorable World Cup meeting came in 2018, when Mexico's 2–1 win in Rostov showcased their attacking prowess, though South Korea's late goal underlined their refusal to lie down and accept defeat. They also met at the 1998 World Cup, where Mexico produced a spirited comeback to win 3–1 after a tense opening spell.

Outside the World Cup, their friendlies have often been competitive, with South Korea's organisation and counter-attacking threat regularly testing Mexico's more possession-driven approach. It's not a rivalry in the traditional sense, but there's enough history and mutual respect to give every encounter a bit of edge, and this one should be no different.
