El Clasico tickets for Barcelona v Real Madrid 2026-2027
Match Details
Barcelona v Real Madrid takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Camp Nou. The kick-off time and broadcast details for this fixture are still to be confirmed by La Liga.
Camp Nou
Barcelona have played at the Camp Nou since 1957, however in recent years the club have had to play elsewhere as their stadium has been under renovation. Barcelona made their long waited return to the Camp Nou in August 2026, but the ground is currently operating at a reduced capacity as the rest of the renovations are completed, which makes it even more important that you secure your tickets quickly! Even though their have been plenty of changes to the stadium in recent years, you can still really feel the history coursing through the walls and seats. It’s undoubtedly one of the most impressive stadiums in world football and it is the perfect venue for a game as big as this. If you're travelling to the stadium from the city centre, it's incredibly easy to get to via public transport. The best option is probably to take Line 3 of the Barcelona Metro to Palau Reial or Maria Cristina station, both of which are just a short walk from the stadium.
Head-to-Head Record
Everyone knows that this is the biggest rivalry in world football, with 264 meetings since 1902. Of those 264 meetings, Real Madrid have won 107 times compared to Barcelona's 106, while there have been 51 draws between the two sides, making this one of the most evenly contested rivalries anywhere in sport. Barcelona have dominated the fixture over the past two seasons under Hansi Flick, sweeping every meeting on their way to the title last season. This season, however, Real Madrid have appointed Jose Mourinho in the hope of turning the tide against their fiercest rivals, which they will be hoping will be on full display in Catalonia.
Last Meeting: Barcelona 2-0 Real Madrid (May 10, 2026)
Barcelona and Real Madrid last met back in May and it was a fantastic day for the Barca supporters. The Catalan giants won the match 2-0 after early goals from Marcus Rashford and, World Cup winner, Ferran Torres. The result was particularly special because it saw Barcelona secure the La Liga title against their bitter rivals and in front of their own fans. The match rounded off a miserable campaign for Real Madrid, who ended the season without a trophy and in need of a big rebuild over the summer. This season however, we expect this fixture to be a little bit more competitive than last time round.
Barcelona 2026-2027 Season
Barcelona head into the 2026-2027 campaign with one of the best squads in world football. Having built the side around their young Spanish contingent of Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Pau Cubarsi, Barcelona can also rely on the likes of Raphina and Dani Olmo for experience. On top of their already stacked squad, Barca have been busy in the summer transfer window. Having invested early on in Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi to add freshness to their attack, Barca waited till the latter stages of the transfer window to pounce for Manchester City’s Rodri. Off the back of winning the World Cup, Rodri was looking for a new challenge and was actually heavily linked with Real Madrid. However, when push came to shove, the former Ballon d’Or winner chose to join Barcelona, much to the disappointment of Los Blancos fans. With their new players now settled, Barca have started the La Liga season strongly, winning all five of their opening games, but they will be desperate to continue that run against their bitter rivals.
Real Madrid 2026-2027 Season
Real Madrid, on the other hand, will be desperate to put the last couple of seasons behind them. Los Blancos have struggled to reach the heights they are used to since Carlo Ancelotti left the club, but they will be hoping the appointment of Jose Mourinho can reinstate some balance to the club. As always, Madrid have spent big over the summer, bringing in the likes of Marc Cucurella, Yan Diomande and Denzel Dumfries for big fees. However, the Spanish giant have also made some shrewd signings in the shape of Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate, who they signed on free transfers from Man City and Liverpool. After a poor couple of seasons, pressure is mounting on the club and Mourinho to turn the tide, and a good result against their bitter rivals could provide the kickstart their campaign needs.
