Bayern Munich vs Arsenal Tickets | Champions League
Bayern Munich host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena in what is comfortably the toughest away assignment of Arsenal's Champions League league phase.
These two have a long and mostly one-sided European history. Bayern have knocked Arsenal out of this competition repeatedly over the past fifteen years, including two heavy defeats in Munich, and the German champions treat the tournament as their natural habitat. Six European titles say as much.
Arsenal arrive in a different position to previous visits. Last season's run to the final was built on control and defensive discipline rather than the open, end-to-end football that Bayern used to punish. A result here would go a long way towards a top-eight finish and direct qualification for the round of 16.
