Match Details
Arsenal v Hull City takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Emirates Stadium. The kick-off time and UK broadcast details for this fixture are still to be confirmed by the Premier League.
Emirates Stadium
Emirates Stadium has been Arsenal's home since 2006, replacing the legendary Highbury after 93 years. Located in Holloway, North London, the stadium holds approximately 60,704 supporters, making it the fourth-largest in the Premier League. The modern arena features the famous "Arsenalisation" project which brought iconic elements from Highbury, including statues of club legends Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Tony Adams, plus the relocated Highbury clock. The stadium is easily accessible via Arsenal tube station on the Piccadilly line or Finsbury Park and Highbury & Islington on the Victoria line. The club is exploring expansion plans to increase capacity beyond 70,000 as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations in 2026.
Head-to-Head Record
Arsenal hold a clear advantage in this fixture and have won each of their most recent meetings with Hull City. The most famous chapter came in the 2014 FA Cup final at Wembley, when Arsenal recovered from 2-0 down inside the opening nine minutes to win 3-2 after extra time, with Santi Cazorla, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey on target to end the club's nine-year trophy drought. This Saturday-night fixture is the two clubs' first league meeting since Hull's relegation from the Premier League in 2016/17 — a gap of nine years.
Last Meeting: Arsenal 2-0 Hull City (February 11, 2017)
The two sides last met in the Premier League at Emirates Stadium, where Alexis Sanchez scored twice to secure a comfortable 2-0 win for Arsenal. The Chilean's brace settled a controlled performance from the Gunners against a Hull side that would ultimately be relegated at the end of that 2016/17 campaign. It remains the most recent meeting between the clubs and the last time Hull faced top-flight opposition in this fixture.
Arsenal 2026-2027 Season
Arsenal go into this fixture as reigning Premier League champions. Under Mikel Arteta — named Premier League Manager of the Season — the Gunners ended a 22-year wait for the title in 2025/26, topping the table with the league's best defensive record after three consecutive runner-up finishes. They also reached the Champions League final for the first time in two decades, narrowly losing to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, and finished as EFL Cup runners-up. The title-winning core remains the spine of the team: Bukayo Saka, captain Martin Odegaard, William Saliba, Declan Rice, Gabriel Magalhaes and striker Viktor Gyokeres, supported by the likes of Martin Zubimendi, Piero Hincapie and Eberechi Eze. With the squad chasing honours at home and in Europe, every home fixture is a chance to keep their 2026-2027 campaign on track.
Hull City 2026-2027 Season
Hull City return to the Premier League for the first time in nine years, having last played top-flight football in 2016/17. The Tigers' route back was dramatic: after narrowly avoiding relegation to League One in 2024/25, they were transformed under manager Sergej Jakirovic into play-off winners, sealing promotion with Oliver McBurnie's stoppage-time goal in the Wembley final. With five previous Premier League campaigns and a highest finish of 16th (2013/14), Hull know just how demanding top-flight survival can be, and they will play their home matches at the MKM Stadium. Few examinations come tougher than a trip to the reigning champions.
