EPL title race heats up between Leicester & Tottenham

Leicester City’s road to the Premier League title

"We are in the Champions League - at least, in the preliminary round of the Champions League.”

Italian Ranieri had an intense show of emotion at the end of Leicester’s clash with Sunderland, knowing that he had taken his side from near relegation to world acclaim and the Champions League tournament. He was asked what caused his tears.

“They were not real tears. They were unshed tears. It was a moment of emotion,” replied Ranieri. “To see all those people around us, entire families on the buses with the Leicester shirts, who have followed us up to Sunderland, it struck me deeply.”

“You realize, in these cases, the extraordinary power of football,” continued Ranieri. “When our sport manages to pull off this positivity, you cannot remain indifferent.”
