Before Juve’s second Last 16 tie, Serie A had an outside chance of earning an extra spot in the competition based on coefficient rankings.

Titan European sides Atlético Madrid, Bayern München, FC Barcelona, Benfica, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and VfL Wolfsburg have won their aggregate Round of 16 to qualify for the 2016 Champions League Quarter-finals.

As a result, Spanish La Liga, England Premier League, German Bundesliga, and French League 1 will be represented in the Last 8.
