Track TicketsArsenal kicked off their pre-season with a thumping victory over Barnet at Underhill Stadium.Goals from Andrey Arshavin, a brace for Jay Simpson and Samir Nasri ensured it was the Gunners who started their preparations for the campaign with a win, over their lower league opponents.Arsene Wenger was able to hand debuts to both of his new signings, as Laurient Koscielny and Marouane Chamakh appeared in the second-half for his first appearance in the famous red and white shirt. The game was never going to be a full-blooded clash between two sides who are seperated by a good few divisions in the English league structure, but it most certainly served a purpose for the Gunners in their planning for the beginning of the season. The foundations for a thumping win were set after just 90 seconds of the game, as Russian international Arshavin opened the scoring. The first-half was a complete riot for Arsenal against the hapless Barnet side, as further goals from Jay Simpson meant that the Gunners went in at the break 3-0 up already. With a largely changed side in the second period the tempo dropped, but there was still enough in the tank for Arsenal to bag a fourth, as Samir Nasri grabbed a goal.Interestingly, you can get Arsenal tickets securely online for all 2010-2011 games here.About LiveFootballTickets.comLiveFootballTickets.com is a football ticket marketplace.
