Everton Howls as Brisbane Roars

Saturday, July 17: Everton registered their third straight victory down under after winning their match against Brisbane Roar. There were hardly any occasion when Everton lost control of the match. The only hiccup came for them when Kosta Barbarouses scored the equaliser at 66th minute of the game. Everton's first goal was scored by England's 21 year old star Jack Rodwell.

Everton registered consecutive wins against Sydney FC and Melbourne Heart by defeating the teams 1-0 and 2-0 respectively in the earlier friendlies. Spectators present at Suncorp Stadium got a rare opportunity of tasting a slice of English football. Magaye Gueye scored the winner for Everton at 83rd minute of the game. Brisbane can take heart from the fact that it has been the only team to score against much more experienced English opposition. Brisbane Roar will also learn a great deal from seeing Everton's ballplay from close quarters. Their Brazilian striker Henrique exhibited an impressive performance on behalf of his team.

    Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email.
