World Cup Qualifiers: Montenegro 1-1 England

27 March 2013 at 10:59

England's World Cup qualifier with Montenegro ended in stalemate after a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night in Podgorica. England looked solid and confident in the first half and took the lead with a headed Wayne Rooney goal from a Steven Gerrard corner after only six minutes. The visitors continued to dominate but Rooney missed a golden chance to double the scoring in 27 minutes after he failed to bury a James Milner pass right across the front of goal. Montenegro changed their team and formation at half time and went after England in the second half. The game turned around, with England seemingly unable to cope with the new setup.

England stay second after disappointing draw

Montenegro equalised deservedly through substitute Damjanovic after Hart's initial reaction save. England almost stole it in the dying minutes, however, with a rasping Steven Gerrard free kick, which was pushed over the bar. England remain in second place in the qualifying group, two points behind hosts Montenegro. You can purchase English Premier League tickets and Champions League tickets safely online now! Roy Hodgson said that his side had started well but gave Montenegro too much encouragement in the second half. Montenegro boss, Branko Brnovic, hailed his side's comback after telling his players at half time they had nothing to fear from England.

Experience was great. Getting the tickets was an easy process with lots of information, received the tickets next day, lots of info on that email when I got them. I also had a concern about using the tickets at the stadium so I sent an email to a customer service representative here and they responded quick and reassured me for my worries. Everything was fine when I got to the stadium and they worked well. Highly recommend!

Liverpool vs Chelsea (EFL CUP) I was initially a little sceptical about purchasing tickets through this website, but I’m pleased to confirm that the entire process went smoothly without any issues. Just a heads-up for future customers: you will receive a WhatsApp message from an international number with instructions on how to collect your tickets, so don’t be alarmed when it arrives. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely use this service again. Highly recommended!
