Porto and Braga reach the Europa League final

Porto and Braga are to meet in Dubin on the 18th of May to determine the winner of the 2011 UEFA Europa League. For the first time in the cup's history, two Portuguese teams are fighting for the winner's title. Braga won against Benfica with a goal from Custodio to finish with 1-0 lead and aggregate scores tied at 2-2. Paciencia's side reached their first European final by consolidating away goals. Custodio's goal in the 19th minute led Braga to victory and sent the team into their first Europa League final. Benfica pitted everything they had against Braga, but the team held firmly onto their lead. Braga registered their 8th win in 9 games during this season, a key aspect of their appearance in the final.
