Track TicketsFormer World Cup winners France have suffered the ignominy of a shock elimination from the tournament at the group stage. Les Blues were beaten 2-1 by hosts South Africa, to ensure they cannot get out of Group A. It was another dismal performance from the French, who fell behind in the first-half courtesy of a shocking error from Hugo Lloris. Katlego Mphela then further compiled the misery on a shocking French outfit by making it 2-0 after 37 minutes. The South Africans were in the hunt for qualification themselves, but their hopes were dashed when Florent Malouda pulled back a consolation for the French. However, it still wasn't enough to inspire a dramatic comeback from the French, who slumped to an embarrassing exit alongside the hosts. The result means that Uruguay and Mexico will both qualify from Group A into the next round. For France and South Africa though, they will be heading home.About LiveFootballTickets.comLiveFootballTickets.com is world's premier football ticket website.
