Arsenal Registers an Overwhelming Win

Arsene Wenger's team registered a resounding victory over Porto on their way to Champions League Quarter Final. Such was the extent of their on-field authority that Porto was completely outplayed and submitted to a 5-0 loss to Arsenal. In the process, the Portuguese club also maintained their poor performance on the English soil. In their 15 outings, they have only managed 2 draws and 13 losses till now.

Spectators must have had a sense of action replay of Arsenal's victory over Porto in 2008. That time, the Portuguese club lost the match by four goals to Arsenal. Despite Dane's magnificent performance it was French international Samir Nasri who managed to steal the show. Dane completed a hat-trick when he scored his third goal off a penalty spot kick. Arsenal fielded Lukasz Fabianski to guard their goal. Porto was forced to field an under strength team as well. Cesc Fábregas and William Gallas, out on being injured, handicapped Porto's performance considerably.
