Real Betis v Bournemouth โ 8 August, Seville
The first open fixture is a good one. Real Betis host Bournemouth at the Estadio de La Cartuja, the 57,000-capacity national stadium in Seville, on a Saturday evening. Betis bring one of the most vocal supports in Spanish football, and a warm August night at La Cartuja is a genuine occasion for a pre-season friendly.
1. FSV Mainz 05 v Bournemouth โ 15 August, Mainz
The tour closes in Germany against 1. FSV Mainz 05 at the Mewa Arena, the last outing before the league begins. Expect close to a first-choice eleven as the manager settles on a shape for the opening weeks.

Manchester City v Bournemouth โ 23 August, Etihad Stadium
Bournemouth begin the league season with one of the hardest assignments on the calendar: away at Manchester City, in Enzo Maresca's first competitive home fixture at the Etihad Stadium. A Sunday afternoon in Manchester is a tough opener, but a rewarding away day for travelling supporters.

Bournemouth v Everton โ 29 August, Vitality Stadium
The first home league fixture of the season lands on Saturday 29 August against Everton. The Vitality Stadium is the smallest ground in the division, which makes for one of the most intimate and atmospheric matchdays in the Premier League โ and one of the harder tickets to come by, given the limited capacity.
The ground is around a twenty-minute walk from Bournemouth town centre and railway station. Demand for home fixtures at a ground this size is consistently high, so book early.
