Arsenal Official Website and Red Membership
How Arsenal Red Membership Works
Arsenal's official ticketing system requires Red Membership for access to most home match tickets. However, membership does not guarantee ticket availability.
Membership types and costs:
- Adult Red Membership: £39 per year
- Young Adult (16-21): £26 per year
- Junior Gunners (0-16): £26 per year
- Cannon Membership (UK only): £5 per year (very limited ticket access)
The official ticket purchasing process:
- Purchase Red Membership: Buy membership through Arsenal's official website
- Build attendance history: Members with more match attendance receive priority access
- Monitor ticket release dates: Tickets released approximately 4-6 weeks before matches
- Join online queue: Digital queuing system during high-demand sales
- Act immediately: Tickets for premium matches sell out within minutes or even seconds
Reality Check: Even with Red Membership, securing tickets for Premier League matches against top opponents is extremely difficult. Arsenal prioritizes members with strong attendance history, meaning new members face significant barriers. Many members go entire seasons without successfully purchasing a single ticket to high-demand matches.
Arsenal Season Tickets
Season tickets guarantee access to all home league matches but come with substantial waiting lists.
Season ticket facts:
- Waiting list currently over 40,000+ people
- Average wait time: 5-10+ years depending on seating category
- Annual cost: £1,000-£2,500+ depending on location
- Must renew annually or lose your seat
For most fans, especially international visitors or those new to supporting Arsenal, season tickets are not a realistic option.
Arsenal Official Hospitality
Arsenal offers various hospitality packages that guarantee match access with premium amenities.
Typical hospitality inclusions:
- Guaranteed match ticket in premium seating areas
- Three-course pre-match meal
- Access to exclusive lounges and bars
- Half-time refreshments and complimentary drinks
- Post-match access to hospitality areas
- Matchday program and team sheet
Price range: £295-£900+ per person depending on opponent and package type.
Arsenal Ticket Exchange (Official Resale Platform)
Arsenal's Ticket Exchange allows Red Members to buy and sell tickets at face value when season ticket holders or other members cannot attend.
How it works:
- Active Red Membership required to access
- Tickets appear sporadically as members list them
- Sold at original face value (no markup)
- Extremely limited availability, especially for popular matches
- Requires constant monitoring and fast action
The Ticket Exchange offers good value but very low success rates for high-demand fixtures.

Best Time to Buy Arsenal Home Tickets
For Official Tickets

Monitor ticket release dates: Tickets typically released 4-6 weeks before matches. Set up email notifications through your membership account.
Be ready at sale time: Have your account logged in well before sales open and be prepared for digital queues with wait times often exceeding 45-60 minutes.
For Secondary Market Tickets
Book early for high-demand matches (2-3 months ahead): Secure better seating options and availability for North London Derby, matches against top-six opponents, or European fixtures.
Mid-range timing (6-8 weeks ahead): Good balance of availability and pricing for most Premier League matches.
Last-minute purchases (1-2 weeks before): Some availability for less popular fixtures, though options become very limited. Not recommended for international visitors with fixed travel plans or must-see matches.
