Højlund and Garnacho break their goal droughts
The match belonged to three key players: Højlund, Garnacho, and Bruno Fernandes. The Danish striker put United ahead in the 28th minute, finally ending a frustrating 21-match streak without a goal. His relief was evident as he celebrated with teammates, knowing the significance of his breakthrough. In the second half, Garnacho followed suit, scoring for the first time in 16 matches. The Argentine winger has been a crucial part of United’s attack but had struggled to find the back of the net in recent weeks. His goal, assisted by Fernandes, further cemented United’s control over the game.

Bruno Fernandes capped off an excellent individual performance by scoring the third goal and providing assists for both of his teammates. The Portuguese playmaker orchestrated United’s attacks and played a decisive role in dismantling Leicester’s defense.
