Manchester United upgrading team for Community Shield

July 18th, 2024 08:51

Now the Euro’s is over, it’s time to look forward towards the new Premier League season. This season traditionally starts with the Community Shield. The match where the reigning champions plays against the FA Cup holders. In this case it’s going to be a very special match, since it’s a Manchester derby. This match is an exact copy of the 2024 FA Cup final, which Manchester United won against Manchester City. Community Shield tickets are already very popular amongst fans of both clubs.

Meaning of this match

For the Cityzens this will be the first opportunity to get their revanche for the lost final. For Erik ten Hag and Man United this match means a good chance to start their season on a positive note. The manager was under heavy pressure at the end of last season. The FA Cup final win kept him in his job. It would be an amazing start for the Dutch manager to start this season with another trophy. Playing against their very successful neighbours puts even more weight to this game.

Upgrading the squad

Manchester United just started its first transfer window under the new ownership. Sir Jim Ratcliff and Ineos set up a good structure, which should help the manager. With the new people above, the plan is for Ten Hag to focus on his job of improving and working with the team. The people above him are now responsible to hand him the right players. They immediately started working on recruitment and are getting some players in. The Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee is the first signing. With this signing Ten Hag has now two competitive strikers, who can compete but also can play alongside each other. Now Zirkzee is in, the focus shifted towards the defensive part of the team. Lille defender Leny Yoro will probably be announced anytime soon as the first centre back signing. The young star was destined to go to Madrid, but Man United convinced him to play in the Premier League.

Superb! Easy to purchase a ticket. I had a live customer service chat once, the staff member was so polite, helpful and informative. I loved the communication after purchase. On the match day they contacted me on WhatsApp if I want an upgrade on my tickets for free and after my confirmation I got my tickets within a minute. Great experience, thank you.

This is the best and most trusted website to get your tickets to any world event. I have used them 3 times throughout the years, I have used other sites for football matches and they are so transparent and fast, the first time I used them was in 2018 for a Roma match and then made the mistake to use a different site for the PSG match in April and they were terrible, from the website, customer service and responses. this is the only site I trust and use!

Bought 2 Club Wembley tickets less than 48 hours before the Championship Play Off Final. Good communication and tickets arrived the following day by email. No problems getting into the stadium and seats were great. Unfortunately my team’s performance was the only let down. Would definitely use this company again.

It was easier than I thought to find a group of seven seats together and very simple to book. Communication was excellent, the tickets were sent quickly and were easy to access, so no problems at the stadium. Seats were good and we had a great view. Everything worked well and I'll definitely be back for tickets again - many thanks!

I received the ticket on time, and the instructions and support were excellent. It was my first experience, and I will definitely use their service again in the future.
